This one had a right up in the books section of one of our national rags. I will have to put a hold request from the library for it.

After seeing this I requested it from the library. Finally arrived and am finding it a very enjoyable read. Very British. A pity we will see no more from him.

Just started this latest one from one of my favorite authors.

Now our libraries are open again I picked this one up on Friday. Okay with out being great so far.

Ah yes, the coming attractions stack. I used to have one of those, but to long in lockdown has seen it dwindle to nothing. Still, I just picked this one up from the library to keep me going for awhile.

Thanks for the report. Those pictures took me back to the 1980s during off season when you had most places to yourself. I haven't been back to Koh Phi Phi since 1991 when IMHO they had already f**ked it up. -

Just reading this one by Dave Warner. I remember him from his marvellous 1978 album Mugs Game. Not the types of songs you would hear on the radio. Anyway, this is his latest book and good so far.

This is in parts fascinating, scary and frustrating. I would recommend it to any of our American friends, especially if you live in California.
