  1. Having an almost 30C drop in about 8 hours here, 90km/h gusts too, first power outage in many years…..enjoying the quiet honestly….Crews will have much work to do, but sun comes up in 10 hours anyway….

Still weird seeing total darkness with just few candles burning……half expect Michael Myers to jump out from a closet!

I wouldn't have let that stop me, one international phone call wouldn't break the bank at that time (and is a lot cheaper now) and there was always SMS.

15 years ago and I still regret it! She wasn’t the only # I got on my virgin trip

  3. @lazarus Some of my best days were with massage ladies. Often if it was early enough of course the shop wanted an exit fee, which was fair. It was understood I wasn’t just taking them for dinner, but at the same time better experience than just straight BF a bargirl

Did the same thing on Soi 6, if I liked the lady why not make it longer than an hour ( or in my case 90 seconds)

What I love about Pattaya is if you’re a gentleman about it, almost every gal is for the taking….The worst that can happen is she says no, but if you never ask, you’ll never know!

But yes you have to know their boundaries…..Nice massage spot near WS in 2008, I missed out on a great time from a nice girl there, about 22, who just whispered “ here’s my #, can’t do anything here but can go loom, up to you”…..I had no local cellphone…Next year, visited a few more times, always 3+ hours per session, and it was obvious she was on the minority, those ladies were all rub, no tug. Although there was one single mom, amazing masseuse, I saw many times, and noticed she wasn’t exactly looking away when I showered between oil & Thai sessions…..I always wondered about her

  4. Usually a tank full in the Nissan last almost a month, but with my visits to the hospital to see the nephew & Mum’s multiple birthday parties, thought I’d fill up at Costco before the weekend $ hikes

Of course, if the gas tank gets filled, so does my gut….Under £3 equivalent….these days that’s a steal. Dog was excellent, pizza not so much though today

It has been a long time since I have paid a bf. I'm not saying I won't ever again, but just the way it's been.

When I was livining in Central every now and then would see one coming into or out of the condo that would catch my fancy. Or even just getting on a baht bus. Strike up a quick hello and within seconds you'll know if it could go somewhere. Do a quick interview, and then make a decision.

No fuss, no probelm, lickety split.... then continue on with your day.

Been so long since my last trip, but I agree with you…In my case, I know I can skip the BF process just by approaching them on the street….A smile, a hello, speaking some Thai, and just being respectful and not pissed drunk goes a long way…..

Unfortunately, as I’ve said before, the bulk of my time there was as a very immature 32-33 year old binge drinker in holiday mode, missed out on a lot of good ladies because of it

Now unfortunately, for my next voyage, I wish the “blood flow down there” would have kept pace with said maturity….Sadly not pushing 50

  6. My best win on 888 yet…..but fook me the patience it takes to go deep in tournaments, recreational players have NO IDEA. Patience ain’t exactly my family’s middle name, especially the boys

Anyway, I’m always learning, much like a round of golf, NO 2 days are alike. Somebody has to step up to put together the seed capital for Secrets Chiang Mai, or else it will never be opened  ! Just hope I can sell 700% share ownership when the time comes!

  7. OK I HAD to mention this. I always record Dateline NBC and 20/20 on Friday nights, both 2 hours usually about a murder mystery with a twist. Thank God for PVR though to bring it to 80 minutes or so, they tend to drag often to make the 2 hours

Anyway, last night’s Dateline was from the vicious rape/murder of an Idaho teenager named Angie Dodge in 1996…..

I will say no more….Watch the episode now if you can find it, DO NOT CHEAT BY GOOGLING IT, TOO MANY SPOILERS WILL COME UP RIGHT AWAY IN YOUR SEARCH….HAVE NEVER SEEN A SIMPLE SINGLE MURDER STORY, WITH SO MANY PLOT TWISTS, A REAL-LIFE MOVIE

Tried finding a link, but this just aired last night, so anything on YouTube dated longer than that covers the murder BEFORE many of the twists….

  8. This weekend’s Up for 8 choices for a shot at $10K…..have won a free $2 wager twice in a row for getting 5/8, it’s a crapshoot but free to choose so WTF eh?

I’m actually living in Twickenham now in Jan’s flat with her flatmate Sally. No mortgage so we just go halves on the bills.

Costs me less than half my rent before, and I have known her over 15 years so have always got on well.

Hope you are well mate….nephew had a psychosis Sunday night, had I not visited him it might have been a suicide 12 hours later….went off all his meds for 2-3 days AND still vaped & smoked weed….It wasn’t pretty, I left with one shoe in -10C weather. His brother was back on the phone with him and called 911, I came back just as they arrived & it went smoothly….

He’s better now but I really fear for his future, he wants his independence, so do we, but he can’t stop getting into trouble and spending his whole cheque….gym, vitamins, takeout, smoking, online whores…..it’s sad mate

So Mom buys food and pajamas, I’ve been to see him twice this week in the ward, but his actual mother? No, no can do, she lives a whopping 20 miles away north of the hospital, with an excruciating 38 hour work week to boot…God forbid she grabs a bus and a train to visit her own son. Yet Mom still wonders why I hate my sister….OH speak of the devil, it’s 6:15 Friday, must be at the lesbian happy hour in the Gay Village right about now

When I was in hospital last month they would take my blood pressure around four or five times a day. Lowest reading was 104 and the highest 156, but times around the 120/130 range, but I do take medication for it.

There’s a Sopranos FB group I’m on, just non-stop hilarious references to the show 24/7. One Swedish guy I friended we talk a lot, well he posted a memory from a year ago of his rehab from stroke, his BP was similar to yours last year, astronomical 2xx-something…..He was only 39 I believe, so count yourself lucky you got the medication to treat it Allan

I still need someone to show me around Bracknell one day, unless there some Asian ladies available in that district

That is exactly how I monitor my BP also using an  Omron device with the band that goes around the arm. I also still have my original Omron wrist device which is well over 10 years old which still gives broadly very similar results but always with slightly higher readings.

The cardiologist who telephoned me yesterday told me to stop getting fixated about daily BP readings. Just to take them once a week as my readings were now very consistent.

When I had my Long-COVID tachycardia/POTS, got a good BP monitor. Sometimes I would go weeks without a reading, then take a couple on each arm same time…..Thought I had heart issues next day, left arm kept pinching watching TV….Maybe the cuff was too tight, I don’t know, but yes if you take too many readings you will probably feel something after. I know the more fixated I get on something, the anxiety still amps up & just makes things worse….I’m not 100% healed, been told many times heart is in great shape but there are some lingering effects from that damn virus

  12. My BP measurements have been near-perfect lately, even though I’m back to around 130KG which is still on the low side for the last 15 years. Spring thaw is here soon, walking will be increased, and KETO will be implemented again

But have a question for @lazarus or anyone else who can chime in?

What does a relatively higher systolic signify, and is it cause for concern? Example, ideal is 120/80, but I’ll have like 125/71, 135/80, and so on..,.,,

    Thanks for any help

Yes, as I have gotten older when I have to shit or piss I need to get to the toilet ASAP. This is why it is important to always have a "where can I shit"  strategy.

Should have been a General or Secretary of State, Brad…..these are the problems we really need solved, not the border or inflation……If we crap our pants to much, we’ll never make it to Mexico OR the supermarket
