He also says....... “If you’ve decided you’re OK getting COVID ... then fine to keep mask off in crowded indoor spaces,” he tweeted. So he is now implying that if you do not wear a mask at a crowded indoor venue...you will get covid......lol.....utter rubbish. But here is his doozy...he said.....” People should keep their “eyes open” because “there’s a lot of COVID out there,” he warned. Wow...here is a first...it seems Wachter is saying when out and about you can see the virus...lol...well that is a first....lol. I would say that tax systems tie in with covid ....be it the Aussie...Brit...US....Canadian...NZ....etc systems as Govts will have to raise revenue from all the handouts they have given which includes research...... and the majority of that revenus will come from the general public. cheers

If the research grant was $1...10...1000...1million...... it was all to much and should have not been allocated to ridiculous things like that...the money is better used spent elsewhere it is needed. Again you bring things up that I never said. I did not say reduce public health spending. I said money spent on ridiculous research grants like the one you mentioned should not occur and those funds allocated elsewhere and gave two examples of where the money could be better utilised/spent...... but as said before...if you do not think those areas are important then each to their own. I would say it is quite easy to see beforehand if research has any value.... and the example about the making of tea and what you put up is a prime example of money being wasted where it could be put to better use. But no problem..... I am sure that you are happy to see money spent on things like that than more important things at hand....like looking after veterans and the elderly for example.... but each to their own. cheers

The money spent on these useless research theories... much like the one you have quoted where the obvious answer any layman could see is that when children the person was scared of needles......been the same for years. Instead of giving good money for these so called "experts" to write a report stating the obvious...... the money should be put to more worthy and important things that need financing in the real word.....like better aged care facilities..... looking after homeless veterans who are on the streets...... in fact all homeless people...... towards health facilities..... better infrastructure...etc...etc. Time these so called "experts" actually went out into the real world and got a real job instead of sucking on the tit of continual Govt handouts. cheers

From what I see...no one has said covid does not exist.... it is there. I also do not see covid response deniers....I see people who questioned what responses were put in place. Why should people who ask such questions be howled down/criticised unless there is something to hide??? Why bring climate change into it...a completely different topic and really has nothing what so ever to do with the situation at hand. As for people being "contrarianism".... just because they do not agree with the "popular opinion" does not make them wrong. To your last sentence.... it seems you want to take away all personal responsibility from the general population and not allow any to question what effects their daily lives. cheers

Yes.... Day one was different as the world went into an immediate panic and opted for one answer....lockdown..... which has proven by the results so far not to have worked. IMO the way to go was to live with the virus...as we indeed do with other viruses ...... and get on with life. Yes people died from the virus.... many under that wonderful thing put in place to stop it...lockdowns. On saying that.... it is now being seen that some of the deaths that occurred was not of the virus but added under the virus number. One should be asking...... why was that???? Was the reason behind it was to use the numbers as an excuse/reason to put restrictions/lockdowns/business closures/etc... in place when they were not really needed....or in fact an overkill decision...or even a very poor decision made by authorities who imposed it on the general population?? As I said above.... if people want to wear a mask...do so. If people do not want to wear a mask...don't. Each to their own. My doom and gloom statement refers to the ones who continually thrive on the negative news about the virus..... in fact I believe there are some people who hope things keep the same as it has been for the last three years since this has started......it seems they get off on it for being so. I agree...the UK has been leading the way in opening up and hopefully the rest of the world will follow their lead..... but I also see there are critics of what the UK are doing...I wonder why on that. It is time to lift all restrictions now.....open up.....and let people get back to living our lives. cheers

Good decision.....it should be the same way world wide. If you want to wear them ....do so. If you do not...don't. All need to get on with life with no restrictions.
