Hua Hin offers both then, didn't know that. I like diving, only negative thing i'd read about Hua Hin, no good there. But small potatoes, have the likes of Krabi which is world class not far away. Yea, I've heard good things about Hua Hin. Like you, i'd prefer by the sea. Wife has family in Sattahip, Uncle in the Navy, go there quite a bit so was toying with there. But going to Hua Hin in January for a week, get a feel for it. It's only a week, so see how I feel.

Where would you retire to in Thailand, if so? Something I've toyed with myself, though not sure if I could. Welcome, by the way
