  1. Replied, my apologies for the short reply mate.
  2. So @AJSP @JPK @Bazle @Esco @tommy dee @Krapow @Proffesor @Baldylocks @Lantern @misteregg @thegrogmonster @Britboy @nampla69 @Horizondave @tommy dee Are among the people who have raised.... There's at least £150 more that I know of If I missed any names off my apologies. If I haven't sent you any info requested I will do this soon. I promise.
  3. Right just posted my bank details on the forum rather than WhatsApping them to someone. There have been some very generous donations today so we'll just have a recap in a minute
  4. I hope one of the locals can help you soon mate. *come on lads help this willing donor out* *rattles tin on side of forum again*
  5. Just received a large anonymous, as yet, donation. Thanks very much whoever you were.
  6. We don't quite have a £1000 but Puang was asked to pay a deposit for Phil's funeral this morning. I've paid it and will take the money from the collection account at a later date. Any donation large or small will help lads. *rattles tin on side of forum*
  7. A generous donation has been received from @Krapow, thanks very much mate.
  8. This sad occasion will take place on the 11th of September. It looks like I may be reading a eulogy at the service, hopefully it will be a much more eloquent member but he has his doubts on availability. If you have a story that could be of any help to us writing the eulogy it would be much appreciated. You can post stuff here or pm as you wish.
  9. The exchange rate with PayPal is terrible and people sending money from a foreign currency to Thai baht which is then coming to me in Sterling are losing out twice. If you are sending Baht by all means send it to Tommy Dee any other currency send it to me and Puang & Thomas will get more of your hard earned cash.
  10. A very generous donation received from @AJSP Thank you very much mate.
  11. Anyone who wants to send money from the UK or to a UK bank account can ask Tommy for my details. I've got a dormant account that can be used. Unfortunately Puang isn't in the best financial situation right now and is doing her best to keep it all together. Obviously this means claiming whatever benefits she is entitled to and is a little paranoid about accepting payments through the bank so I'll be taking all monies as cash to her. There is a meeting this morning to set the date for the funeral. She's being helped by a neighbour to arrange this but without more help she'll be taking on a debt to pay for this. I spent the day with Thomas and Puang yesterday and she is obviously suffering but holding it together. Thomas is just the loveliest boy in the world who can't understand where daddy has gone. Anyone who has my phone, email, line I'D can get in touch directly for details of bank account or PayPal. Or PM @tommy dee I will update the forum on amounts and the date of the funeral as soon as I can.
  12. So sad to get the news this morning but happy his suffering is at an end. He was a great guy and tried to fight this so very hard. I feel honoured to have been able to visit him last week and see him settled back at home. Of course he didn't look the best but he was bright as a button chatting away and smiling as he could watch Thomas playing on the floor near his bed. It is a shame that the trip to Rotterdam that quite a few members from here had planned this weekend was cancelled as I'd quite like to be with friends right now. RIP Phil
  13. You are doing absolutely nothing wrong mate, in fact your posts are much appreciated. In the interest of harmony maybe we could start a funny gif thread and keep this one as a non moving image thread.
  14. It's only half time in the game and we've come back from 3-0 down before. *reality kicks in and the sound of weeping drifts across the forum*
  15. Aye Scottish teams don't last long enough in Europe to cause trouble.
  16. Quote from above article... ...In another, a man stood on the edge of the fountain is pushed, before emerging soaking wet. It would be news if someone fell into water and emerged not soaking wet I would have thought.
  17. Used to love messing about on my boat. To save money I marinised a Ford transit engine when I first built it. Cost me about £1200 for a new two to one reduction gear box, the nearly new engine from a dubious scrap yard and any of the marinising kit parts I couldn't make myself. Probably another £300 on controls, battery and paying an auto electrician to wire it up. Fool made his wiring far too pretty and the voltage drop was too great to top up the leasure batteries. Wasn't so beautiful but worked after I redid it. Leasure batteries not included in above price.
  18. Fake news alert. Luton doesn't look as nice as that.
  19. Interesting listen this... https://podtail.com/en/podcast/undr-the-cosh/11-david-norris-i-cannot-confirm-nor-deny-these-al/ It answers is Roy Keane a cunt, does Colin Wanker like a brown envelope, which chairman was doing beaky in the toilets and much more.
  20. If there was a God of football Abu Dhabi City would have dropped points by now. Never mind just the small matter of Barcelona tonight before the round of matches where Liverpool managers decide the league. Klopp v Benitez and Pep v Brodgers.
