Whilst I applaud the move to force motorbikes and cyclists out onto the road where they belong. It does show a certain disregard for those long suffering wheelchair users and there ability to enjoy the beach path like everybody else. Still, maybe there is more of this story to come.

Just finished this one. Normally I like his books but I found the ending to this one a bit unsatisfactory.

If they have removed the pumps to widen the road then are they going to move the Horse and Shrine again?

Now I am back home after my 6 weeks in Pattaya and Vietnam it is time to put the Kindle away and get into some more up to date reading. I have kicked off with this one of the 7 books the Library had waiting for me.

Just returned to my Hotel room in Nha Trang after watching the first session of the Australia Sri Lanka game in a Russian bar. Would have stayed longer but a few to many beach drinks beforehand make it problematic.

Ok. Let me get this straight. They are only going to widen the road upto Soi 4. Yet have not removed the Palm trees in that area yet. Then from Soi 4 to Klang where they have removed the Trees they are not now going to widen the road. You get more sense out of a bar girl than City council.

Would you go to Yangon at this time.

As three of the six books I had to read weren't worth reading l finished them fairly quickly. Needing something to read until I could visit the library l searched the bookshelf and came up with this old favorite. First published in 1947.
