  1. Really good coffee, really poor croissant! Stone cold in the middle microwaved warmish. Velo cafe Hua Hin
  2. Thanks I have started to explore around as far down as Soi 51 but more by walking down the Naebkedhardt Road. Found a decent little coffee shop(Mug cafe, I'm an idiot that is on Soi 51, google tells me😜), and a thai craft beer place(Three Dots and a Dash, expensive but fascinating Thai place), and a load of restaurants I want to try. Like Sushi so will definately give that a go.
  3. That's interesting thanks, that's a part of town I've only just started to explore to will track that down. Looking on Google maps there is a well reviewed Pharmacy in the area you are describing called Punya Pharmacy1. I'll get myself down there and give it a try.
  4. Thanks, when I try on the Fascino website all I get is an article on the atorvastation. Guess it's the case of trying your local branch. The one in North Pattaya is excellent I remember, in HH isn't but I can only ask. I'm vary of using this online pharmacies that I've never heard over. But happy to give Bangkok Pharmacy a go as see you've used it in the past.
  5. @forcebwithu I've resurrected this thread of yours as need some help please, and this thread seems more approrpriate than the generic health thread. I was diagnosed with high cholestoral in the UK and prescribed 40 mg of Lipitor, which as I understand in the brand name for Atorvastation. The price of this in Thailand seems to be around 2K baht for a box of 30!!!! There surely has to be a cheap generic alternative? If you or any other Thailand based BM knows the generic alternative and can suggest a supplier that would be very much appreaciated
  6. Stickman reported from an email response from them that it was a denial of service attack. https://www.stickmanbangkok.com/weekly-column/2023/11/stickman-weekly-november-19-2023/
  7. I revisited Warm Welcome, Soi 33 BKK to try something else as I was so impressed with yesterday's visit- wasn't disappointed. Tiny place three tables inside, 2 outside but I'm forming the impression that whilst they only offer a small range, everything they do is excellent.
  8. Chicken Panini, with a fresh side salad. 180 baht and top notch.
  9. That would have been fantastic I guess!
  10. Yep was just sipping it watching the horse racing and the cricket. Got a fair bit to do tomorrow, so steady evening.
  11. Watching the cricket, no skin in the game but the old "Only sing when you're winning .." song echoing in my head. Talk about fair weather fans, not over yet though.
  12. Banofffee 145 baht and the best coffee I've had in Thailand 75 baht. Lady behind the counter just starting off preparing a new Desert from scratch. Warm Welcome, Soi 33 BKK definitely coming back.
  13. Chicken fajitas last night before a big night on the crown, really good. Apologies for the rubbish picture, new phone will be purchased next week!
  14. Have PM'd you Ajarn Orange, just let me know where to send the ££££.
  15. Hey Yessongs This gym of yours seems to throw up an unending stream of gorgeous women 😍 I'm coincidentally heading north up to Bangkok now. Have told the driver to forget Sukhumvit, and head straight for Khun Yessongs gym!! Enough of lovely quiet Hua Hin, BKK suburbs here I come
  16. Agree There's a post that deserves the BM being bumped up to V.I.P @tommy dee what happened to the thread were we could suggest people be bumped up, or was there a thread🤔
  17. It's bloody hot 🔥, bound to make a man thirsty.
  18. With you on the graph😀 He'll switch to shorts though and ruin our fun!!
  19. New one on me, can't possibly give me as bad a hangover as Chang🤞
  20. A beer every 10 minutes, good sensible pace!
  21. Thanks I stumbled across that one yesterday, I will explore it. Am starting with the numbers on Thaipod 101 on YT. Like the way they teach, get you to think about giving your Phone number in Thai or the numbers in the bank queue. Just watching one video a couple of times through, realised I need a blank exercise book to take notes. Its how I learn The link you shared like to do puzzles, another good way to hopefully keep it fun.
  22. On a Carl Hiaasen roll, picked up second hand. Very funny as always 😎
  23. Thanks for that link, that's really handy Have saved that as a library in YT. I had noticed the lessons as recently have started to watch your daily news building. As an side note, was faccinated by the A.I bot reading the news yesterday. A more pleasant liste than many of the vloggers. Hope your staff get over the bug. Oh and of course I "liked and subscribed" 😇
