Another hot day here with isolated thunder stroms due this afternoon, I was going down to my local lake for a few days but I just got an email that a delivery is coming today. So it's a case of waiting in and hope I still have time to go and beat the rain!

Just home from my walk and enjoying a nice cold pint of water from the fridge.

I thought that too, just picked up some fish food and was on my way to walk around a local lake, it started to piss it down so I turned around and drove home. Will walk later on when it has cooled down a bit.

It's still lovely and hot here, I have done my work in the garden, cleaned the pond filter etc. Went for my usual walk and did 5 miles. Now showered up and enjoying a nice cold pint of tap water!

That looks interesting, will have to give that a try next trip.

Been waiting in for a delivery. It's just arrived so I am released to get outside in the sun. It's glorious out there, so a few jobs in the garden are in order.

Many of my fishing mates have done exactly that. They park up at the lake and live in the converted van. Some even have massive solar panels fitted with a couple of big batteries for continuous power.

I think buying cheap Memory cards is false economy because known makes are not that expensive anyway. You can of course get unlucky and temperature variations can cause problems too. I generally stick to SanDisk and over the years I don't think I have ever had one fail. Now wait and see what goes wrong now!!!

Eating brekkie whilst supping tea, waiting for my head to clear after yesterdays indulgence down the pub. Since I have cut my alcohol intake down, I find myself getting drunk much easier. That seems like a good thing apart from the hangovers are worse too!

Just been playing around with dates to rearange our ferry booking so we don't loose any money. Fortunately P&O offer a book with confidence package during Covid times that allows you to change dates free of charge. The sun is out and it's a beer day, so the plan is to walk 5 miles then cool off with a few pints down my local beer garden.
