The tightest person I've ever met is an old English lady friend of my wife. She has always had money and was always very well connected,she was a body double in the 60's film Blow Up & used to go out with the son of Don Arden,an infamous music manager of the time who lived in Bel-Air.She also lived in her own house in Barnes,but has since moved to Richmond,pocketing a load of cash from the Barnes sale. When she goes on the tube she scours the ground outside the station for discarded tickets & when the missus first introduced me to her in 1991 she called me a terrible man,because after buying her a drink in Tim Beer Bar on beach road I told her it was her round.

In the UK Marks & Spencer have started doing their Gastropub range of pies again.They used to be superb & this Steak & Old Peculier Ale version did not disappoint.With pease pudding,veg & gravy. Delicious but lots of cals & saturated fats....but it's a rare treat.
