    Sometimes we have estimated bills for a couple of months and then an adjustment with a meter reading. I'm not in Thailand but just out of interest chacked and my rate is the equivalent of THB5.62/KWh and now i see that yes its up over 25% in a year.

    Culverts seem such a cost effective solution, this shows how disasterous a miscalculation on the restriction to the flow can be.

    Trying to lose a few kg after my holiday - missed lunch (just a cup of coffee and an apple for breakfast). Tofu stir fry vegetables and a nice plate of fruit.

    Dynasty Grand my favourite and I will be back when open again. A bit down market from this, but good value is Nana City Inn (if I'm not wrong this is now called Nana City Hotel), just about next door to The Tavern.

    I've flown Finnair a couple of times, good airline. 1hr and 45mins will be more than enough time to see all of the airport twice.

    As soon as i arrived back i booked xmas flights, SIN-BKK. Prices still ok but i expect will rise very quickly. Thai the best price, lower than the budget airlines for now

    I was in Thailand for 2 weeks, Bangkok and Pattaya. Immigration speed was great but i think visitor numbers are picking up fast and soon the snake queues will be lengthening again

    Just arrived back in Singapore from Thailand. Had a good holiday and the whole travel experience was easier than the last visit in Dec '21.
