  1. listening to Marina / Marina and the Diamonds - sort of a modern day Kate Bush - amazing voice, amazing live (utterly enthralling!!!!) saw her in london in around 2012-13 songs are haunting and hard hitting emotionally. Some stuff is a bit 'out there' but most of her stuff is simply amazing - and live infinitely listenable! (that's enough bullshit bingo words for the moment :)) Some of my favorite tracks... MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS - Iā€™m A Ruin [Acoustic] - YouTube Marina and The Diamonds | Lollapalooza Chile 2016 - YouTube - 16 mins - teen idol - 43 - im a ruin are the highlights MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS - Lies [Acoustic] - YouTube - lies MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS - Homewrecker [Acoustic] - YouTube home wrecker my favorite - Clean Bandit - Baby (feat. Marina & Luis Fonsi) [Official Video] - YouTube
  2. bean juice should never interfere with any other food on the plate - its like an unwritten rule one must adhere to else the universe will collapse into a malestrom of chaos
  3. Thanks Painter - can now see the star next to threads ive responded to - would be nice to have the option to open to the last page instead of the first page doing some research on invision shows this: Please allow reverse post order in threads - Feature Suggestions - Invision Community
  4. perfect answer - thank you!!! - yes i now see that a 16amp (fuseswitch / breaker) is an absolute minimum for a 3.5kw heater! - most of my heaters are 2.5 / 3k units
  5. looks great - i miss my bbq!!! - once im in my place (and not in shophouse) - one of my first things is a decent bbq / smoker I would love to make a nice Tandoor to cook chicken / breads

  7. Hi, When opening a topic, it always selects the first page of the topic, then you have to select the last page to get it to go to the end. Some of the threads are many hundreds of pages long, and you may want to get to the last viewed page - is this possible? regards Peter.
  8. Made a Salmon creamy Tagliatelle tonight. Onions, mushrooms, garlic, peas and tomato's, fried off in olive / sesame oil. Roasted the Salmon in the oven in a marinade of soi sauce / sesame oil, and grilled the skin. Added some Worcester sauce and light soi sauce. Fresh cooked Tagliatelle was added, and then chicken stock and a cooking cream. reduced for a few mins before adding the cooked Salmon. On the top used the grilled Salmon skin - very nice and the missus approves.. If you dont like cream, then you can add the pasta water and an egg to make a nice sauce (carbonara style). I cooked enough for 3 portions, so the wife will have for breakfast in the morning šŸ™‚
  9. love brussels - try par-boiling them in bacon, then roast them in the oven - beautiful!
  10. new gentlemen's club coming soon in Soi Boomerang - Pleasure Lounge... Ex manager from Ruby Club on Soi 6 - great lad and i hope he does well
  11. famous 'wooden paddy field house' in Si Sitchanalai (although i think the actual village is Ban Na Ton Chan). Homestay available to rent - be warned it gets swamped by many Thai 'photo hunter' tourists of a weekend :))
  12. never really had any brand loyalty - i've always been a 3-4 year and change car to suit purpose and mood at the time. My favorite brand is Alfa Romeo - beautifully designed (and poorly engineered) cars - that sound amazing šŸ™‚
  13. We have a Nissan Terra - 4wd 2.3L - excellent car - feel very safe on the roads in Thailand , as great upright 4x4 with lots of on-road presence. Bought on a lease agreement at 2.3% over 4 years and will finish it off next year. Excellent off-road capability - allows us to go up into the mountains around Uttaradit to see our friends for the evening. About to buy a new motorbike for around town travel - have always resisted it, as it was our plan to move up north before covid hit - but now stuck in Patts and probably will be for a couple of years. I've always been a fan of trial bike style motorbikes (dont like the crouched down seating position of racing style bikes) so I'm still looking for the motor bike i want :). I also have a mountain bike - Specialized SWORKS Epic FSR - lovely bike - but wasted on the roads around here (but when we move to Uttaradit will be ok :))...Bike is called Bessie šŸ™‚ (wife says its my mia noi šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ :))
  14. nothing in Central Pattaya - but to the north over Nakula it looked like thick clouds.
  15. yes - they do all have test / cutoff - but wasnt sure it was good enough - prefer the belt and braces approach, as you do not want a customer electrocuting themselves when having a shower šŸ™‚
  16. Dear @Proffesor - MANY THANKS for the superb and concise information! - if you could help me a little bit... In my shop the previous owner had installed showers, without any RCD's (and coming off the same feed as the aircon....) I changed that by putting a separate 16a fuse switch in the fuse board, and then put an RCD before the shower - is this a correct approach to protect? Ive not had an earth check done on the building, would you recommend that? (i have a fuse board on each floor) TIA Peter.
  17. Koh Chang is great - but very quiet now šŸ˜ž - me and the wife went a few months ago - nice and quiet and relaxing week - away from the hustle and bustle. Wanted to go to Cambodia, but will wait until we can cross easier!
  18. lol not so good - ate and drank then spent the next few hours on the khazi .... decided only beer and water until sickness finishes šŸ˜ž
  19. any recommendations for an air purifier for 44sqm office? - i have a hepa filter in my aircon - but feel the bad air in my nose and throat
  20. 3 days of no food due to food poisoning at a restaurant, wife brings me coffe and a 7/11 toastie šŸ™‚ - shes perfect ā¤ļø
  21. that was the most spectacular space moment ever
  22. Does anyone follow the SPACEX starship build and progression? - they launched and landed a 50m rocket today (SN10) - blew up a few mins later, but to be able to watch the iterative progression of what will be the next spaceship to take us to the moon, mars and beyond. I have watched from the start ::) - there are quite a few facebook groups dedicated to it, along with many youtube channels.
