Took a trip to James Bond Island in 2005. These photos brought back memories. It was on those must dos while in Phuket. I doubt very much I'll ever go back to Phuket now so I'm glad I took the trip when I did.

I've never been a fan of girls covered in tattoos. It's one of the many aspects of holidays in LOS which just aren't as good as they used to be. I have to say that I've developed a tolerance though. I suppose I've had to or face an ever smaller choice. It's really refreshing though to spend sometime with a girl in Patts with no tattoos.

This one's from 2012. She told me it was the name of her daughter. I'd say more likely it was the work of some sick bastard who wanted to leave his name on her for all others who went after him to see.

I saw American southern rockers, Blackberry Smoke, in the Tramshed in Cardiff last night. The place was packed out. Good set by a great band. I couldn't help thinking though that the crowd looked very old and crusty, like they had been dug up just for the occasion.

I saw Dr Feelgood in The Globe in Cardiff on Friday. Yes, I know they're not the original players. It was a great night made even better by the barmaid who I did my best to chat up. I thought the tickets were a bit steep at £18 and a pint of Guinness was a fiver. I'll have to get down the Globe more often. There's gigs down there about two or three times a week. We walked all the way to Caroline Street after for a curry and chips. Just like old times all those years ago.

I saw Liam at Reading last year. Great. It got me back into Oasis after hardly listening to them since the end of the last century. Apparently Noel and Liam have been offered a massive amount to reform for one gig in Ireland. We'll see. Liam wants it despite all the insults he hurls at Noel through social media. I'd love to see Richard Ashcroft. I was listening to The Verve's Urban Hymns last night. I put it on as soon as I got back from work.

I saw Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Paul Weller at Bristol Downs a few weeks ago. I've seen the Stone twice this year, once in Cardiff and then again at Twickenham. Seeing Dr Feelgood in three weeks of so. Yes, I know none of present players are from the original band. Got tickets to see Blackberry Smoke in the Tramshed in Cardiff in a couple of months. If no one here has ever heard of them, they're brilliant.

When I first went to Pattaya in 1989 there were no western women at all. Whatever rationalising and justifying I hear for the changes in the nearly 30 years I've known Pattaya, there is no way the influx of western women have made the place better. In my perfect world, western women and non sex tourists would be banned from Pattaya outright.
