So, basically you are turning slowly in the wind and smelling awful. 🤪

The wife has just renovated a large house and they stripped all the render and plaster off and took the ceilings down. I popped in from time to time and watched the guys re-plaster the place. It realy is an art and I had nothing but praise when the job was finished. Smooth as glass and all done in a few weeks. 👍

I must be doing something wrong, I just point and squirt. 🤪

The cheap printer price is to draw you in, so that you buy HP ink, as that is where the profits are. Usually the ink cartridges in a new printer has around half the ink in cartridges you buy separately. I always bought online from other “discount suppliers” and paid half the printer manufacturers prices. As for paper prices, you was robbed. You can get 500 sheets for £2.50 in other places. 🤗

Got given 3 of these today. Caught fresh and cooked on the trawler this morning. So today, I will mainly be making Maryland crab cakes, crab salad and the the other two will go into Thai curries of various types, cooked by the wife, for her friends. 🤗

I cleaned the attic out with the wife the other day. Dirty, smelly, covered in cobwebs, but she’s good to the kid. Actually AJSP, it got damp in the garage at our last place and got mouldy and black spots on it. I was all for dumping it, but hey, my wife is Thai and we had to keep it. She chucks nothing out, not even me. 😟

Well Lanzalad sis better be prepared to spend £600+. 🤣 Ours is still in the attic in its box. A complete waste of money. Hardy used. 😡

Have you bought the pram yet Lanzalad? I tried to steer my wife to getting a cheap one from eBay, but she was having none of it. Had to be an Oyster “Travel system”. Basically, a four wheel pram thing to which you attach various, very costly, attachments. A cot for the baby to sleep in when you’re out, which our son refused to sleep in, a class 1 baby car seat and a folding pram seat, with all weather hood and umbrella. I’ve bought cheaper cars ffs! The worst thing is, he spent less time in the damn thing than it’s taken me to type this. 😟 Most of the time he spent being pushed around in a £30 folding buggy.

Cooking our little un his favourite tea. Cumberland sausages, mash, veg and proper gravy. All cooked by my own fair hand. He’ll be ravenous when he get home from his Martial Arts class. 🤗

Horizondave would love you to start a blogg on HH. We tended to use the Anantara and Marriott to put up overspill (couldn’t fit them all in when they turned up mob handed) relations and once used The Hilton. Problem now is Fri-Mon, the hotels north of The Royal Palace are gridlocked with the weekend traffic. Marriot looks a lot better since they had a makeover a few years ago and as you say, night market just across the road and some good bars within walking distance. Kao Tao has grown beyond recognition, back then it was just a dirt track down to a couple of ramshackle wooden fish restaurants. Then the City Council extended the road and now large condos and expensive hotels have sprung up. The Chiva Som probably the most expensive one. Hua Hin is still a good place for a visit, because everything is within reach, as long as you pick the right time to get where you’re going. 😊

Understood. 👍 I watched the program showing it being built the other day. The reason they included the water tanks in the design, was the droughts and water shortages the area had been experiencing and these tanks, when full with rainwater, would make them self sufficient for approximately 3 years. Internally, the house is really nice, but agree, the outside is weird, but there are many climbing and falling plants and vines incorporated into the facade. Give it five years and the greening may make me change my mind.
