I was there for that... a cracking day.

I had a similar with a young 4sum last week. When they realised what a queue was, their trolley almost took my legs out from under me .... 3 times! The first I ignored it, the second I gently nudged it so it was at right angles to where they thought is was, the third I threatened to use it as a wheelchair. I was impressed with immigration both ways... although it may have been good timing, the queues were long but I was directed to an almost empty newly opened counter both times. Result!

Fortunately surprisingly quick, that queue. About 30 minutes in a queue to check in. Almost caused a diplomatic incident as the young 4sum Chinese group took my legs out from under me for the 3rd time. I pointed out that I was behind them ,(gesturing to the couple in front), and that the Chinese people were behind me and would not be getting infront. If they wanted to offer me their trolley as a wheelchair I would be delighted... The first two security areas had signs saying "full, use area 3." So I did. 10 minutes to get through security and immigration. Now sat in BKK airways lounge, eating puff pastry pizzas.

I hate queuing...

Taxi to swampy. Only reached 3rd road and I've almost been deadded twice already. This might be a long ride....

Short answer....yes Long answer.... popping up to Vientiane for a few days break from the hassle and bustle of pattaya. Can't actually believe I have been here for 3 months... don't need to go until 31st, but am hoping to meet @Krapow and others at the start of February when he's in town... if theres enough of us there may be cake....!
