The green netting was lowered, for whatever reason, as I walked past Las Vegas this morning That "massive", "impressive" sign looks small and lost from The Nest, which is only just up the street The ?communal? Space down the middle of the shipping containers, er, luxury fitted out bars seems small, my guess is about 30feet, leaving not much space for bars to have seating and tables Presumably this lack of internal space has been created by having to move the "wall" next to Areca in by 10feet or so to allow for the (originally unplanned for) fire escape. I wonder how long until a bar creates a doorway through the wall, and puts seating under the overhanging roof? Plenty of space, and presumably a flat floor.... It appears to be small tin boxes within a larger tin box. Could be echo-ey... Jmho, of course. Others may love it...

England's changing room, between innings.... Plum english accent " Well chaps, we need 250odd to make them bat again. Looks like we have a choice... either play sensible cricket, when those Indian spinners will tie us up in knots and it'll all be over by tea, or go out slogging play bazball and chances are it'll all be over by tea but we have an excuse for getting out" At 40 for 3, with 2 out to horrid shots, I think we can see what they chose... Tee times for tomorrow have been confirmed.

England 100 - 2 at lunch. Ducket caught (excellently) at cover trying to slog to leg.. Pope, having been out playing off the back foot in previous tests, was determined to play off the front foot, a mile down the pitch, and missed... Will the middle order fire or flop?

This morning's easily overcome obstacles on beach road part 2... Opposite Royal Garden, seemingly installing stainless steel guy ropes on something... And a crane negotiating the buckhou bends by the market... -

Attempts are being made to sort traffic queues outside Central. I vaguely remember seeing this before, but can't remember when, or where... -
