They have made the beach so big I dont see how making any sort of drainage to the sea would even be possible now.......I think the back-hoe drivers will have steady work for years to come filling in the canyons after every major rain...

I saw the new food court today...It looks kind of nice.... But I dont understand the move....The old food court has been a howling success from the day it opened...A monster success....Why change? Whats going to be built in the old food court ? I am kind of confused...

If you look at the long term chart the Pound only went above 76-77 for about a week? or two?..... So you must have made this transfer right at the top..

I am sure they think England needs to be punished for rejecting the Euro so I do expect the Pound to drop below the Euro at least for a while....

I would fully expect the Secrets board to be shut down with out warning.....That would fit in perfectly with the previous with out warning major thread chops........ The Secrets board has been very poorly managed for a few years now.... For a looooong time it was really a great place....

This project was in the planning stage over 10 years ago....If you started from the first time plans were drawn up and started adding up the baht till now you would be some where between 1 and 2 billion baht maybe more.....The old mayor dumped at least 500,000,000 baht just on those worthless storm drains that dont work....Then there was the promenade redo....And about 3 failed attempts to improve the beach...Then there was the HUGE sand dredge boat that sat out in the bay for over a year.....And dont forget all kick backs...Hell it might even be closer to 3 billion....

The real beach flooding problems started after the 2013 beach road remodel.....Not only did they cut down most of the trees they made the new promenade as flat as a pancake....Perfect for flooding the beach.....The promenade before 2013 was actually smartly designed to help control the flooding... Plus all the many trees that were on the beach helped stop the beach erosion... But honestly I cant help but laugh that with-in weeks of finishing the beach it has a major wash out.....It was guaranteed to happen in time I just did not think it would happen so soon.....Talk about egg on your face...

Great pictures they will out there soon covering up the washed out areas with new sand like they always do....

If any one here likes dry red wine Laughing Bird WAS a great deal on a pretty good wine 1.5 liters per bottle....But unfortunately in the past 2 years the price has gone from about 320 a bottle to the current price at 580 a bottle... Its still the same wine but with a whopping new tax added to the price....
