Thanks very much john luke. The second photo is the building that my brother-in-law owned and had Cheers bar for 29 years. I wonder what it is now with all that Chinese writing? Yet again I appreciate the effort you went to, to answer my questions. To me it looks like cosmetics and shampoos etc.

Having the usual pre trip discussion/arguement with the missus about my short time activities. I just let her say her piece and just nod my head every now and again. If only she knew that I haven't had a stray root for the past fews trips.

Cooking up a large curry. Plenty left over to be put in the freezer.

Got up this morning, shaved, showered and started getting ready for work when I thought fuck it. Today is the day of the "Race that stops a nation" the Melbourne cup. Decided to take today off and will go to the pub for lunch with the missus and then have a few drinks and bets watching the great race. Not really an issue as Friday was my normal day off so I will work that day and just have today as my rostered day off. Caught up on some leftover jobs yesterday so taking today off will be OK (I hope).

Testing fibre optic cables last Friday. Boring but pays the bills.

It is now 8am and am counting down the minutes until the pub opens at 10am. Been up since 4am and have done 3 loads of washing. Another good day of horse racing here in Australia.

An old chap down the pub swears by it and has got a lot of people using it. According to him it cures all ailments except possibly the clap.
