My sister used to live in the center of the Smokies. Incredible nature, wonderful views. Used to see brown bears every now and then. Spruce Pine, NC. Fascinating place. Especially if you like to go to church. They're on every corner.

After checking out some of the sights then - get the hell out of there. lol There are some areas that are trout fishing paradise, although I have never had the patience for it.

yes. I agree. Getting a dog when it cannot be properly cared for is irresponsibilty and abuse at it's highest level IMO. That is the primary reason I am waiting for the next dog partner. When I find the right time in my life to do so it will happen. Then we will ride off into the sunset together from there.
