Foakes has not gone down the bazball route, he builds his innings with thought about his shots. Need Root to go back to his old ways of playing as well.
  3. Enjoyed this on Disney. Based on a true story from 1980 when a woman is charged with killing her neighbour as she had been having an affair with the dead woman’s husband.
  4. Use a pint as an incentive for every five you do. See how many pints it takes before you can’t even focus on the bars.😀
  5. Just started this. Sounds really interesting.
  6. Unfortunately Huddersfield won as well, 4-0 so we are still 3 points behind them and safety. Drew 1-1 with them the other week when we really needed a win, especially with it being at home.
  7. Vegan mince, basmati rice, a variety of green vegetables, some garlic, onions and spices and bolognaise sauce .
  8. My mate Lloyd is like that. Has everything incinerated. Remember the time we were up London years ago, and went in this fancy steak house, I think in Leicester Square?. We both ordered expensive steak, I had mine medium rare, he had his almost black. I was gonna go and buy him a hacksaw to replace his knife so he could cut through it 😀
  9. This is good about a cryptocurrency con. Interesting fact at the end, it said that in 2017 alone, almost $5b was invested in cryptocurrency, and about 78% of companies were scams.
  10. Vegan chicken, shiitake mushrooms, lentils, finely chopped tomatoes, peppers and various vegetables, with a mini naan bread. A few small spoonfuls of vegan ice cream for dessert.
  11. Season two of this excellent behind the scenes documentary series that follows the ATP tennis tour.
  12. Cheers mate. Yeah, when I was in hospital they said I was suffering from malnutrition, and I was put on four drips. My electrolytes were all over the place, plus I was on a potassium drip, plus one for dehydration. Apparently I was anemic as well. Chuck in the mental health issues and I was pretty f***d up. They took so much blood I needed a transfusion before they released me, was at least half a litre judging by the size of the bag.
  13. Nice frothy cappuccino. These are Maxwell House instant sachets, and are surprisingly good. £1 for a box of eight from Poundland.
  14. Vegan chicken, ‘meaty’ vegan shiitake mushrooms, with a selection of the usual vegetables, with Basmati rice and bolognaise sauce.
  15. Yeah, it’s a follow on from Finders keeper’s, about 60 pages in and good so far.
  16. Hope you’re feeling better soon mate. Yeah, it’s the mental side of things that is harder than the physical, in my case I was seeing things and hearing voices that just weren’t there, and you don’t understand what is happening. Trauma can really f**k you up real bad.
  17. Famous words. Few days after that post I ended up in hospital for over a week after having a mental breakdown. Shows how your life can change in an instant.
  18. This is excellent on Disney. Tells the Anne Frank story, but from the perspective of the people that were hiding them. Can’t imagine how terrifying it must have been, just waiting for the visit from the Nazis and being discovered.
  19. Just been over the shop for some tea bags and saw this little mishap. 😂
  20. Decent diet and exercise should be able to do that in two or three months. I’m not as strict as I was a couple of years ago, I ended up weighing 60 kilos. Now I’m about 75 and want to get down to about 70. But the last two years I have basically been sitting down a lot, my last job was 15 months sitting on a chair all day. It’s one of the reasons I want to get back to work, get an active job, at the moment all I do is an hour a day fast walking on a treadmill. Weather doesn’t help? Being cold or wet all the time so limits outdoors activities.
  21. Don’t sound excessive mate, if you don’t suffer from gout or diabetes etc then it’s probably not a problem at all. I am just trying to limit the chances of having a gout flare up, as it is so painful and lasts around two weeks.
