  1. Well said mate - one of so many that have been 'righted' by a good lady. Everyone has regrets, and one of mine is that I have only known my Thai wife for 10 years - I wish I had pulled the plug and left after the marriage broke up last century.
  2. Sorry mate - not that Aussie Bob
  3. Yes. As things are now, and going forward, the Junta is imposing more and more draconian rules and laws about downloading content. They are even looking at implementing a single internet gateway (like China) so that they can stop certain domains being accessed. However, there are ways and means around all those sorts of things, so you can do it. But. If you get caught doing it, because a Neighbour or ex-GF reports you to the Police, then you can easily be investigated and found guilty just based on your IP Traffic through the ISP and other ways as well - and if you cannot pay your way out of it, you will inevitably be deported (after paying a hefty fine) and never allowed back in (on the same Passport).

I dont think the Saudi thing is dead yet. They have committed to financially supporting the Asian Tour, and with that they have requested Norman setup a group of 'premium' events with premium players attending - like the Rolex events in Europe. I am sure that break away group thing they tried is dead, but I am sure they will now move towards Plan B. How the global golf works is that each Tour requires its 'full time members' to play a certain minimum number of events, but they also have co-sanctioned events like the Open whereby it is counted as a event in the PGA and points won and prizemoney earned counts towards the PGA. Each Tour has an end of season big money event (Fedex Cup and the DP World Champs) and only the top qualified 'member' players get to play in that event. Guys on the PGA tour can qualify if they play 'enough' events, and if they have won enough points/money on that Tour. There are lots of other complications and variations which I dont fully know - they seem to change each year - remember when the CEO of the European Tour went to USA and reached agreement with Rory about the minimum number of events he had to play. What the Asian Tour wants is a part of that action (co-sanctioned events) and their own end of season event in Saudi. But both the PGA and ET see that as a threat and have reacted. Yes the PGA (and LPGA) keep a lot of things 'hidden'. But they can do that because they are not publicly listed organisations or companies - unlike EPL or NFL etc etc. You are dead right about the LPGA - it is a fact that the LPGA is not happy about the Koreans (and now some Thais and Japanese) winning so many events. But they know that if they went it on their own they would fold - the money is not there for the women's game in USA - it certainly is however in Korea and Japan and if those 2 Tours ever got together like the mean's Asian Tour is becoming, the LPGA would be in big trouble. The English proficiency push is still there, but now it is strongly encouraged not a rule - it was done because the USA audience hated that non-Americans were winning and they could not even speak English when interviewed. They also tried to introduce clothing rules and that went down like a lead balloon too - some say it was because the Asian ladies looked so sexy and slim, but the American girls were ugly and fat 😁 That Nellie Korda reached number 1 for a while they loved it, but with Jing Young Ko now back on top they do not like it. The LPGA and PGA have one thing in common - they are totally biased towards the USA Tour, USA Players, USA Sponsors, and USA spectators. Anything that will take that arrogance and power over the game away from them, I will always support. We are lucky the R&A still 'owns' the rules - otherwise who knows what the PGA would have done by now.
  5. And I would not be surprised if they soon make it part of their subscription only games.
  6. A bloke walked into a chemist shop and asked to talk to a male pharmacist. The woman he was talking to said that she was the only pharmacist and that as she and her sister owned the store, there were no males employed there. She then asked if she could help him. The bloke said that it was something that he would be much more comfortable discussing with a male pharmacist. The female pharmacist assured him that she was completely professional, and what ever it was that he needed to discuss, he could be confident that she would treat him with the highest level of professionalism. The bloke agreed and said "I have a permanent 10" erection and it is causing me some concern. I was wondering what you could give me for it." The pharmacist said, "Just a minute, I'll go talk to my sister." When she returned, she said: "We discussed it at length, and the absolute best we can do is this: 1/3 ownership in the shop, Home cooked breakfast and dinners every day, And £3,000 a month in living expenses."
  7. 80-year-old man was requested by his doctor for a sperm count as part of his physical exam. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, ‘Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow. ’ The next day Bob reappeared at the doctor’s office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day. The doctor asked what happened and the old man explained, 'Well you see, doc, it’s like this. “First I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing. Then I asked my old lady for help. She tried with her right hand, then with her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out, still nothing. 'We even called up Sally, the Gal next door and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried between her legs, but still nothing.’ The doctor was shocked! 'You asked your neighbour?' The old man replied, 'Yep - but none of us could get that damn jar open.’
  8. My understanding is that since NY Times bought the game a few weeks ago, there has been geo-modifications of words to reflect variations in spellings and meanings - especially in USA - example: center and centre.
  9. Like the game - especially the recent changes which means not the same word worldwide anymore. But what I really like is that the inventors made something simple that became popular and they have now made a decent earning out of it - well done and good luck to them.

I hear you and understand - not so sure myself about what 'side' to support. But having said that I do see that the PGA is the one trying to 'divide' - whereas the Asian Tour (supported by Saudi money) has been trying to become a 'third' player in the overall market. The PGA has fought against the Asian Tour for decades - because they see it (rightly) as a threat to their dominance and control. Lets face it, the European Tour (ET) is only going well because of a few sponsors - lose them and the ET is in big trouble. The PGA and ET have for decades fought to keep the Asian Tour 'down'. Now that the Asian Tour has the money to 'fight back' against the PGA and ET tour, the PGA especially is threatening all sorts of sanctions and suspension. I have been across what Norman has been trying to do for years - and he is right. The idiots in the PGA Australia refused to join the Asian Tour because the US PGA told them to - now look where they are. In return the PGA supported a couple of events in Australia and 'supports' players to go there and play - remember the infamous Australia events when Tiger was 'caught out'. The PGA wants to dominate and control golf worldwide - which they currently do because of the money they have on offer, and that global players like Rory play there because of that fact. But if the players also played elsewhere a lot, then the PGA (and its sponsors) would lose that power and control. The Saudis are not great, but who is to say that the money from all sources behind the PGA or ET is totally 'clean'? Human Rights abuses occur all over the world, but to use that as a 'tactic' to discredit an opposing tour trying to become big, shows the depth that the PGA will sink to in order to keep its power and control. IMO golf is a global game and it should have 3 main tours - USA, Europe and Asia. Concurrent in that should be the ability of all players to play in all 3 tours - within certain guidelines etc. The fact that both the ET and the PGA play several of 'their' events in Asia shows that to be the case. The PGA wants to be like the LPGA - whereby most of the leading players from different worlds are all playing on the one big tour - the LPGA. The LPGA 'allow and support' the Korean, and Japanese, and European Tour players, participating in their Tour. But the LPGA is too small globally to have 2-3 large Tours - the LPGA is needed in the women's game. That is not the case for the men's game - but the PGA refuses to even discuss with the Asian Tour for it to play a bigger role in global golf. So they are forcing the Asian Tour to 'go it alone' hoping that they will fail and fade away, and thereby leaving the PGA in power for decades to come. Overall, I support the Asian Tour and what Greg Norman is trying to achieve. But the PGA is very very powerful - as Phil found out the hard way - several of his sponsors have cancelled their contracts. It all reminds me of Tennis, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football, NFL - it often takes dramatic circumstances for a sport/game to be taken out of the control of the existing vested interests, for the game itself to be able to improve and grow.
  11. But in Aust they dont make you pay for a test - nor take you away to an expensive hotel/hospital at your expense. Plus of course the number in Aust includes PCR and ATK, and the real number in Thailand is much higher than reported.
  12. Unbelievable - 52. RIP Warney. I was there at the MCG when he got his 700th Test wicket - still has the record IMO - all the wickets taken by a chucker should be removed from the Test records. I was also there at the MCG when the crowd called out 'No Ball' after every delivery - he was taken off after a few overs. Their coach later complained that it had upset him and the Aussies were cheating. The consensus fired back at them was that it was his bowler who was cheating and that our Umpire (Darryl Hair) was right when he was no-balling him earlier that year. Shane Warne was the greatest ever bowler in cricket - period.
  13. I have been using an IPTV service through my Nvidia android box for years - with updates disabled. The IPTV service covers all my sports and TV channels (European) and also has movies and TV series (not the latest but when released on web). I only use the Nvidia for the IPTV and for playing 4K movies - tried many 'black boxes' before the Nvidia and they all disappointed. It is plugged into a big LG TV that has no internet connected (all TV smart systems are dumb sheite). I also have an old Win7 Laptop plugged into that TV for downloads and basic web and entertainment stuff - setup so all non-essential services windows and system ones are disabled - zero security. If anything goes wrong I can simply wipe the laptop OS and reload the backed up system again. I use the Win7 PC for playing HD movies and downloads and basic entertainment stuff (Brave browser). VLC is the media player on both the Nvidia and Win7 devices. The Win7 PC struggles sometimes with the 4K movies, but the NVidia plays them great - each device has an external hard drive attached. Currently waiting for 2TB and 4TB SSD drives to become more reasonably priced, and will then move over to those for storage. I also have a fairly new laptop in the office running Win10 with full security and a VPN connection - I use that for all personal stuff like banking, and all office needs - I never download or play anything or do anything 'risky' on that laptop. I am happy to use win10 for the secure laptop, but I hate the fact that it auto updates and adds apps to 'enhance my life' and that it is basically 'watching' me - it can be very easily tracked and traced - almost impossible to remain anon.
  14. Mate - I aint no social justice warrior that is for sure 😁 And you keep right on going buddy - while you are young and still can - I would be doing the same thing if I had 'woken up' when I was much younger. But eventually you will 'settle down', and then having someone to share your life with will become more important than you can imagine. Until then, play the game and live life for all its worth - never heard of a bloke on his deathbed that wished he had effed less women, and travelled to less places overseas.
  15. Have you tried Omeprazole - take before you go for a feed/drink. When I did drink I found I had the same issue - used to take antacids to help. But the Doc said it was gastric reflux and that I should take a medication - worked a treat. She also checked to make sure I did not have something called a hiatal hernia - which I did not. May I suggest you go see a doc and get that checked out, because if you do have it you need to get it sorted or things can become chronic - and also talk about taking something like Omeprazole.
