Usually only get to drink once a week so got to make sure of a good selection. Hope to get through two Abbot, the Sicilian 750 cl special ale and two Timothy Taylor Landlord before port with cheeses and biscuits My money is on the Abbot and Sicilian special before pulling out with a need to sleep.. Should be fun. In between it will be haggis hopefully consumed.

I had hoped to be there about 3 weeks ago with family but never made it; my loss but hope to make up for it soon.

I have just woken up after a nap so I am at least 3 behind you. Only have the two Abbot beers but if I am capable of drinking more I do have 2 Timothy Taylor Landlord as well, another nice brew.

I think you have shares in the place, I am still yet to enjoy their fayre.

Had Valentine's day there a few years back; actually had booked at the French restaurant next door (La Paillote) as I assumed they would have mussels and my babe loves mussels. Got there and there were no mussels on the menu so walked next door for a lovely Italian feed.

Just got back from work 30 mins ago; thing is I was woken at 2.25 am to be asked 'where are you'. I said I was in bed on a day off only to be told, 'no you should be at work'. I didn't work Christmas Day and because of that I was rostered to work today, thing is nobody told me. Still 300 miles of lovely Kent later I am now having a glass of wine.

I think you are taking the gym thing a bit too seriously, it's messing with your head; no doubt off to the tanning and nail salon as well. Don't forget to pack your tampons lol And don't mention coleslaw....

Have stayed at GoodTimes on most of my trips, lovely place to stay with a lovely view from the restaurant. Great place to have breakfast and the rooms over the pond are really nice.

Another reason I drink after footie is that I hate people pissing down my leg when I need to go to the loo, it gets all a bit too familiar in the footie bogs, I like my space.

I tend to drink after but in a pub on Parsons Green, hate drinking out of plastic....

Good pint of beer for a footie match, I thought it was us Chelsea headhunters with good taste in beer lol

Yes I was drinking the Abbot Reserve on Christmas eve, my only beer this week.

I would love to add to this thread but my drinking is limited by my work. I might be the only member on this forum (apart from the teetotalers) that didn't have a drink on Christmas day or Boxing day. My next pictorial post on this thread will be Friday afternoon.
