Off to the Entertainer shop to pick up some toys for the wee one. There has been a 50% off promo of late.

Only 39 days now.... hoping Emirates arrive early in Dubai so I can get more than 1.5 hours in transit, need to buy a few things.

Well I am having my first beer since last Saturday, it is a nice Latvian beer from the shop recommended by Sherlock (Chris).... thing is I only have the one so unless I go out that will be it. I have a course tomorrow morning in Bermondsey so maybe I will just wait until I hit the crew in Holborn, I will be ready then as I am off until Tuesday. Other than that I bought an Aberdeen Angus and Merlot steak pie at Iceland, that is being cooked right now and will go with Iceland's chunky chips. Hadn't been in to Iceland for a while but very impressed with their products.

Have to say that even sitting down and budgeting for babies can be far off target, babies have a way of rewriting the best budgets. One thing I will say though Phil, once the wee one enters this world your mind will not be thinking about Thailand and I mean that in the most positive way.

No I will still be there, feeling much better and have been back to work. My course is due to finish at 4 pm in Bermondsey so depending on where we are meeting I will be there as quick as I can be and ready for a drink although as you know I am a lightweight.

I hope you shared that because that is an awesome platter.

If we are including series then I have started watching 'Killing Eve'. Recommendation from my brother and I love it, have watched the first 2 episodes. Last movie I watched was Ocean's 8 and I thought it a bit pretentious, I mean really crap.

Cooked a sausage casserole and had it with vegetable mash. Food was better than the photos. Think I prefer it before I served it but it was delicious.

Never a quiet dull time when you have good company tagging along......................

Not meant to be drinking (doctor's orders) but this bottle of chardonnay had been in the fridge for about 3 weeks and kept winking at me, had to be opened and very nice it was too.

I did a few craft beer places in Denver back in 2001, really enjoyed it. Obviously another time your company would be the added bonus but maybe nearer you and not in Denver.

Sounds Chinese but I presume Yuengling is a place in US? Interesting as some US beers are really good especially the real ale types. I have drunk quite a few at Wetherspoon and they occasionally get some American brew-masters to prepare a special brew for their festivals.
