ATM card expiring

I bank with Bangkok Bank , but I assume it will be similar to other Thai Banks ...

My card expires in Dec 23 , how quickly does it take to get a new card , can you get one a month or so before the expiration date ? 

I assume there will be charges involved ..? 

The account was opened with my current passport , so that won't be an issue

I have never actually reached an expiry date on a Thai ATM Card in nearly 30 years ... An ATM has swallowed it or I've lost it before expiry.

I used the Bangkok Bank on 2nd road, on the right, just before soi 6. It opens early and is on the baht bus route. They will cancel your existing one and issue you a new one...I think for 300 Baht..
