If I remember correctly at least one of the cheap airlines does a package that includes transport to the ferry and ferry tickets. Possibly a dollar or two more expensive but less hassle.

Not been but I'm very tempted to go especially with the eatigo discount.

Not sure what I want from the Liverpool Chelsea game tonight. A victory and carry on the momentum of a perfect start to the season of course but it is the least important competition. Wholescale changes to the team though give the fringe players a run out and don't risk injury to any first teamer.

What a lovely football night last night was. Manchester United out of the league cup. Harry Wilson the 21 year old on loan from Liverpool Fc scores one beautiful free kick... https://streamvi.com/watch.php?video=1537906699 ...and gives the five fingered goal celebration at Old Trafford. Game finished 2-2 and Harry scored his penalty as well in the 8-7 Derby spot kick victory.

I learned the tiniest bit of Bahasa but remember that there are a few words in the Malay version that are English and Dutch in the Indonesian one. I'm pretty sure that ashtray is asbakje in Indo.

Not super busy down the Plaza but most bars have a few customers. Sat staring across at Noody bar trying to think nice thoughts but in the back of my head I'm struggling. What she did to Saints, member of other fora, was shocking. Glad the lad got home OK.

Sat with a very old friend of mine. When Mrs Thinkingallowed introduced us 12 years ago I asked what is your name? Bill was the answer. I explained that for a ladyboy maybe Belle was a better name. So she changed it...

I reviewed this yesterday and was really underwhelmed by it. In fact utterly disappointed. From Lanzalad's description of the position I thought he may be on about La Taverna del Passatore?

Actually that's the place I stayed at, not sea view. The righthand window on the first pic is the room I had.

Excellent, thanks again @Woody Woodpecker Have stayed in Bang Bao a couple of times and really enjoyed it. First time at a very basic place, possibly called sea view. Built and ran by a youngish couple who were lovely and kept wanting to feed us for free or give us drinks. The second time at some octagonal bungalows, no idea of the name, which were much more luxurious. Definitely some good restaurants there and vaguely remember having a great drink with a Portuguese girl who ran one of them. Thought the scuba diving in the area was a bit disappointing to be honest.

Some great pics there, thanks. Haven't been there for a few years. I wonder if they still do the music, dancing and fighting demonstrations in the restaurant at certain times. On my last visit I ended up on stage doing the sword fighting.

I think Rafa is only there for two reasons. Firstly his children are very settled in the English education system and he feels a similar affinity with the fans that he had at Liverpool.
