January 2004 or 2005 was my first trip and it was similar then. £15 a night in the Eastiny Place Soi 8 and the same for overnight company even with booze and food it was pretty much all in at £70 a day for me. flight at £650gbp but bring back the cigarettes and flight paid for I think a two week holiday hitting it reasonably hard was £1500. The fag sales really being a huge benefit ( until caught by customers on trip # 6) plus the great exchange rate. happy times and great memories

Had a very nice breakfast meeting at Bristol City Football Club this morning ( no food pics as I wanted to avoid the questions why am I taking photos). 0745 - darkness lifting but the pitch looked in very good condition plus a few of the outside catering vans for match day

You have to watch these lads. Pure class. I’ve been watching their vids for years in England but this series is a 1 month trip to Thailand. they hail from the North East, Wallsend Newcastle and a lot of fun. Take a look at their channel / here’s a sample

In my local club it’s £3.60 as a members price. My other couple of locals it varies from £4.10 to £5.00 a pint

Good luck with the new venture and I hope it’ll be a success. Will definitely be a patron when next in town.

I have to just update this and confess that I got it wrong - the price above was one way so basically a return flight in economy is £1100. Direct flights were about £150 per person more I think I’ll wait and see before booking anything
