  1. Agreed, although ive only ever read one of his books!
  2. Depending on how you like your history, this is a really good book. Started this book at Xmas time and still haven't got around to finishing it yet!
  3. Its in the OP title mate, between Brentford and Hammersmith
  4. Thanks mate. I think, for me anyway, its the silence that comes along for not hearing any cars, bikes or trucks anywhere. The warm temps and sunshine certainly helped as well.
  5. Good weather today I’m old London Town, so decided to stretch those legs and get out for a decent walk. 7.8 miles between Brentford and Hammersmith.
  6. Cant believe I've never actually seen this movie before, until toady. Showing on Sky Movies at the moment.
  7. Those scenes leave it very only for a sequel and for other characters to have more of their own standalone movies that will then blend into that dream sequence at the end!! Did you allow Junior to watch that movie as well?
  8. More holes in that than a Swiss cheese!!! Just about every country in the Western World has some amount of different COVID strains! No Quarantine free travel for us Whitey's until at least 1st January 2021!!!
  9. Nice photos Dave. I imagine with blue skies that the views are even better!
  10. Slight lie, it comes out at 3 hours and 45 mins! Its certainly different though!
  11. The new 4 hour version of Justice League has just popped onto Sky Movies today. Good film. Very interesting extra scenes have been added! well worth watching.
  12. I had heard of the hate before my first visit, and I never saw any hate whatsoever in any of my 3 trips. in fact, it was the complete opposite and on about 4 different occasions, local people went out of their way to help me!
  13. @thunder367 Only just seen your thread right now, so sorry for the delay. Been to Japan 3 times now in the past 3 years. Stayed in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka, and Sapporo. As Sangsom as said, rooms in all hotels are generally small, and can be even smaller than you think. Unless you pay some good money for a room, its going to be small. Stayed in Shibuya (Famous scramble crossing)and Shiodome which is right next door to the (now moved) famous Tsukiji Fish market. Travel around Tokyo is very efficient and cheap. You can get a 3/5 day travel card which covers all but 2 train lines in Tokyo, but is only available for tourists! 3 day card was Y1500. If your wanting to travel the length of Japan on the Shinkansen, that will not be cheap at all!! Although saying that, if you want to explore a certain region in Japan on the train, a JR rail pass is amazing value. I booked a JR East rail pass, which covered everything I wanted to see in the Osaka/Kansai region, and a 5 day pass was £63!!!! Even covered my Shinkansen train from Osaka to Hiroshima too, which if paid for that separately would of been the best part of £115 one way!! So the JR pass is amazing value for money. Again, pre-booked before arrival and only available to tourists! Found domestic flights around the country to be a great price. I paid about £65 on ANA for each flight, which included baggage too!. Need anymore info, let me know. Would be happy to help. Highly, highly recommend flying up to the north island of Hokkaido and checking out Sapporo!
  14. I wonder how he managed to explain away this one to Meghan!!!!!
  15. Thats what we use at work for defrosting the freezers on the cook line! Really doesn't take long at all to do it this way.
