    The night market, located on Second Road almost opposite Central Festival was open, but I would say that less than 25% of the stalls were occupied. That said there was a variety of different items on sale; probably same variety of goods available, just fewer outlets selling them.

    I think I may have to change the title of this thread as I do seem to feature many abandoned premises and premises in the process of demolition. I posted some photographs yesterday of Made in Thailand; whilst passing today the speed in which the demolition is going on surprised me. Anyway todays shots are below.

    Not much changes on 6/1, other than at the Second Road end a new hotel is in the final stages of construction.

    I think the main 'unknown factor' is whether in five years, or ten years, or even twenty years some unforeseen side effect will manifest itself. We will not know the answer for five, ten or twenty years. In the meantime it is necessary to accept the benefit -v- risk balance on what we do know now. I have been happy to accept my two vaccines and a booster dose, based on the information and expert opinions of today.

    BenQ 27 Monitors I am looking at buying a monitor for use with a MacBook Pro out here in Thailand. I would be interested in 4K and a brightness of 300. BenQ seem to be very competitively priced, compared to other names with the same specifications. Has any member recently purchased a BenQ monitor or can offer any view on the brand? Thanks.
