Just finished up booking a trip to Macao, leaving Aug 27th for a week. Staying at The Venetian, got the "Premio Royal Suite" The second largest Casino/Hotel in the world? This is going to be great....

My weekly "Salmon" run at Promenade Shopping Mall down on the 1st floor after my gym workouts. This place has great seafood.

Just a quick, probably dumb question about the "weed" now available at all of the places around town. When I was in Pattaya in April, saw alot of these places, same in Bangkok. What I DO NOT see is people smoking out in the open as a general rule? I am sure we all know, that pot has a very distinct smell. Since my "stoner" days are long over, do any of you guys ever see people toking out in the open?

@ChiFlyer Nice pics, La Jolla down in the San Diego area is still nice. Great place to vacation. My pics were taken in the bay area, San Jose, Calif to be specific. Always good to get back home on occassion....The Viet Coffee girls and wifey like it too LOL!

This De Lorean was parked outside at Santana Row a few weeks back. Guy was cool, he even opened the suicide doors to let me get a better idea of how it looked. I want one LOL!

Last night, dinner/movie and after, Swensen's for a Banana Split at Fashion Island Mall. Wifey is in the dog house with me....she ate the Cherry when I went to the restroom without asking me?? Bitch...I always get the Cherry LOL! Yeah, it's good to be back 😛

Finishing up here and ready to get back to the "hood" in Thailand. Final dinner last night, cannot believe how good this meat loaf tastes at "The Cheesecake Factory" Love this place. Kahlua/Coffee after dinner at the bar to finish up our time here. Had a great time back in Calif. Going to miss the weather for sure. Looks like some good threads I need to catch up on.

Few pics from here....mostly dinner pics. Our favorite Italian Food place called "Maggiano's" over where all the local "Hi So's" hang out, then drinks at "Straits" where they have the most beautiful Vietnamese Cocktail Waitresses...Hit "Opa" Greek Food one evening in Campbell. Nice place and great food also. Of course wifey is dialed in on Springtime here..a trip to the "Rose Garden" where all the flowers are in full bloom....with all the rain Calif got, this place is very nice right now for sure. @lazarus Matt, was talking to this guy here who had 2 of the most beautiful, stunning looking Chinese girls that were off the hook! He tells me these girls paid him to take pictures of them here. He told me he lives in the "Nob Hill" area in SFO. Did not ask him if they minded if I took a few pics of them, but should have. A missed opportunity. Went to Monterey one day, hit one of The Giants games.....just chilling for a few more days.

Getting over a hang over from my 50th High School re-union Sat night....not good LOL! Few of my buddies from 1973 Varsity Baseball team... This gal in the orange blouse walks up to me later in the evening as I was taking to some of my buddies right? My 3 best gal pals from back in the day, still look great. She says to me " Oh my God Mike'? She immediately puts her hand over her name and pic, then says " You don't remember me do you"? I said " Oh well it has been 50 years" She says "I remember you for sure, you were always staring at my legs in Algebra class"??? WTF? She then kisses me on the cheek and said "See you at the 60th re-union" Of course I never did that! She must have been doing "yabba" earlier in the day. LOL! Good to be back in the hood.

Just drinking some coffee before the taxi arrives at 8:00am local time here. Heading back to Calif for a 50th re-union, should be good. I have already been e-mailed that I am "winning the award" for who came the farthest for this adventure. I have a week without wifey, then she shows up next week as she is going to Malaysia for a wedding and flys out tomorrow. I can't believe the number of messages I have received about this re-union from people telling me they can't wait to see me?? Who fucking cares? Some of the people that have sent me these messages ( mostly women of course) after seeing them on FB, good lord, have another donut! I am normally not outspoken LOL! For you guys that live here, be careful, an incredibly, brutal hot spell is here for the next 5 days. 40c today in Bangkok?

Glass, first concert I ever went to at Winterland, San Francisco was 1972...The Doobie Brothers. All original members Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, Tiran Porter, and the 2 drummers, Keith Knudsen and Michael Hossack. Dam they were good, just lit the place up and as a 17 year old, I knew they would be big and they were. Patrick Simmons and I have one thing in common, we BOTH went to Leigh High School in San Jose. He graduated in 1967, I was 1973. I am going to my 50th re-union this Sat, should be good. Alright, as a 10 year old living in Los Angeles, I used to be a "bad ass" roller skater at the Holiday Roller Rink every Sunday from 12:00pm-5:00pm, it was $2 for the whole day. Mom reminded me of that a few years back. She had to pay. They would play this song "I'm into something good" by Hermans Hermits. I am amazed at some of the shit I can remember from 57 years ago....seriously. This is your " feel good" story for the day..................you're welcome LOL! "Hellooooo"

Wifey and I had our yearly Physicals in Jan a week before heading to Singapore. Yes she had the "smear" and " mammogram" done also. Got the scare of our lives 2 days later. She gets a call telling her that there is something wrong with her test and she needs to immediately come in and talk to her Dr. We get there and the idiot receptionist somehow, someway, called the wrong person. Wifey is pretty mellow as a general rule, obviously not speaking fluent Thai, I don't know what she was saying to this girl, but it was not good. Could tell by the "tone" in her voice. A call from a " senior" official later that day with an apology was in order. Yikes....

Wifey is geeked up, last night she got the last 3 numbers in the Lottery here for 8k baht. Jesus, you would have thought she won 800k baht by the way she reacted LOL! It's all good though, as I was rewarded with her making Lasagne for dinner

65 Inch TV's are good, we got 2. One in my "man cave" ( Samsung) and one downstairs ( Hi Sense) Well done to you for getting that set up quite nicely.
