I eventually connected with WIFi only that was okay ... 🙂 Brand new build , bought it just before Xmas , but just moved in , lots more snags than I expected, but they have been quick so far to deal with them ... a couple of bigger ones , replacement patio doors , should be dealt with next month ... you would think they would have checked stuff more carefully, going to cost them more in the long run .... The bowl felt warm when I touched it Sun is shining on my balcony, so not all bad 😉

Looks like it was an issue with the Ethernet cable , no idea why , worked okay last time I used it ... up and running now 🙂 used the toilet for the first time this morning and thought something was amiss... the flush was connected to the hot water ..... summoned the plumber and he had to reverse his work from yesterday and correct it at the hot water cylinder... the plumber that originally did it , no longer works for them , but he couldn't have got it more wrong if he'd tried ... bunch of cnuts 😉

There were sockets but inaccessible... they had put them inside a cupboard.....so he disconnected those and put in a double socket under the unit ...now it's done all okay 🙂 WiFi speakers , can access your music library as well as any you subscribe to like Spotify , but it won't recognise the new router ... tried resetting and following all the instructions, but nothing works ... hopefully a bit of human help will get it sorted

Watching the Brighton game on tv in my new gaff , my first night here , had the plumber and electrician round today sorting out "snags" , the hot and cold were the wrong way round on the shower mixer and it was either hot or cold , nothing in between.... they forgot to plug in the fridge and freezer ... there were no sockets left under the units .... but all sorted now 555 apart from I can't get my Sonos to work on this new network, will try the help desk tomorrow 🙂

I've only been on the canals once , for two nights , was a team building exercise , but loved it would happily do it again .... love watching Tim West and Prunella Scales on their trips ..... would really like to do the Canal des deux mers , from the Atlantic to the Med

boxing up all my things ... have given loads of stuff to charity shops to reduce the clutter ... downsizing to a smaller property over the next week , so it will be easier to just lock up and leave when I feel like it
