the last few years that I've been doing a roast lunch for a few other blokes that live in the retirement village,meat vegies and pud plus a heap of beers and a drop or three of Bundie. then clean up and have a wee nanny nap. once had many,many bundies think it was 3 days before I finally finished cleaning up. this year thinking I will go out for a feed at a club or pub.can't be arsed if the truth be known,i took the blokes out for a day after a win on the cup. regards grayray

think I've posted before on simular thread, I would help my younger family circle,buy my mate a good bar in Asia and finance it for 2 years to give him a chance and give decent money to 2 orphanges. the rest I would just spend the rest of my life having a good time,banging some highclass workers.and maybe a nice beach house somewhere looking over a good beach,not that I can enter the surf again.but the thought would give me a hardon. and hire a good carer who can cook a good lamb baked dinner and a great prawn curry. and not back answer me when on my soapbox regards grayray

yes you can loose a mate when he or you do something that really flucks you up. I haven't yet lost any, got the 3 I had as a school kid back 70years ago,2 have not seen for a long time,one who we stay in touch all the time the others know that I can't travel, hear from on our birthdays,see them at a few funerals over the last 15 years. but if I walked into our old town local where they still live,we would just start up like I just got back from another mongering tour, there was 5 regulars who one of the barstaff called us the "filthy five" we won a prawn tray at the raffle and one of us had bag peanuts he brought back from queenslands Kingaroy peanut farms. so we ate the prawns and nuts and the shells was all over the table and floor,and the nickname stuck. fluck how can I remember that he have trouble remembering the beer order when its my shout. regards grayray

we in OZ there are "friends" and then there is "mates" a mate is closer than a friend,in some cases a mate is closer than a wife, most blokes share things with their mate, things that they would never tell wifey. you can always get another wife,but lose a mate and you never get him back regards grayray

had simular back in the late 90s at the post poffice in soi Post office, standing nice and peaceful in line maybe hour and ahalf get to the front and this wee local just walks straight up and the shelia behind the counter starts to serve him,i very peacefully hold the back of his jacket and take him to the end of the line,no yelling no anger,just right flucked off.every one, bar him and the shelia cheer, all the thais was laughing their tits off seems he is a repeat offender. must admit I had eyes in the back of me head for week or so.
