When the same controversial changes happen in country after country like relaxing marijuana laws or biometrics surveillance laws or visa tightening policies or plastic bans etc, you can be certain these polices did not originate from or come from the individual countries......

Its going to be absolutely brutal when they get to banning plastic and paper cups and plates in a few years...Funny how no one ever questions whos getting all these countries to pass all these bans with in a few years apart all over the world...Now thats real power...

I also saw no security checking anyone's personal shopping bag at all for lifted goods....

I see today Big C Extra has now put big fat security tags on their green bags they sell for 3 baht.....I think people were putting the green bags in the cart and walking out with out paying...I guess one to many people figured they were owed free shopping bags....

So much so that a leading chain had started putting electronic security tags on their baskets to guard against theft. They tweeted a picture of a green basket with the Tesco Lotus name on the side and a tag attached. The story created a social media meltdown.

Grasshopper you must be patient....They will be coming for the plastic bags from the markets in Round #2 a year from now along with plastic cups and plastic plates....In round # 3 or 4 they will be coming after the paper cups plates and containers.....Not sure what they are cooking up for rounds #5 and 6 yet we will see...

Your missing the big picture.......This is a example of a true biodegradable....If this was produced on a worldwide scale it would be as cheap as regular plastic bags......The plastic pollution problem would be reduced by 60-70% in short order.......But like I said before banning plastic has very little to do with helping the environment...Solutions are not welcomed....

Animals are always used for propaganda.....Whether its starving polar bears to get peoples support for global warming or what-ever.....Sure plastic is not good for sea life,I dont dispute this at all...... But unfortunately the powers behind this whole anti plastic bag thing care very little for the environment.....Truly biodegradable bags should be a world wide multi billion dollar industry by now but for the most part they are unavailable....Why?.....Why are they not not available?...... They have already said publicly that banning plastic shopping bags is only step #1 with 6-7 more steps to go in the plastic ban..Much more banning to come....With out plastic most street food sellers will be put out of business in Thailand...Think about it...

I am sorry but carrying a reusable bag makes me feel like a fruitcake...Heck I might even develop a desire to start hanging around Boyz-town.... The only solution to this bag madness I can see is to take my own single use disposable bags with me when I go shopping so I dont shame myself by walking home with a reusable bag.......

For lower prices fill your bag in the store and just skip the checkout.....

Its good to see some stores have not been swept up by this anti plastic bag movement...

So the stores in Thailand are almost ALL at the same time going to turn on a dime go green and be concerned with saving the Earth over maximizing sales and profits??? Does this sound strange to anyone? Think about it.....What kind of entity has the power to get almost ALL stores to agree with this all at the same time? Never mind all the other stores in all the other countries......Were millions of people asking for this? Nope they sure were not......Yet this anti plastic bag thing just keeps spreading from country to country...

I am making a prediction the Hong Kong protest will be over in due time...... Solution in the making..... Let the protesters continue to protest... Send in some agent provocateurs to make sure the protest keep getting more and more nasty.... Protests graduate from signs and shouting to fires and random bombings...Make sure sure some people get hurt and maybe a few deaths....Make sure this gets lots of news coverage.... The final straw will be when some police get killed which will be the excuse needed to send in the mainland troops... The story will be China did not want to send in the mainland army but were forced to to restore order.. And this just proves Hong Kong is not fit to rule themselves..So we are taking Hong Kong over for their own good... China's goal accomplished..
