  1. Noooo, my old ones are only a few months old too. Besides, they are too bright for Ya!
  2. Can't beat thick cut bread for toast, soaked in real butter.
  3. I just checked and the Mountain Warehouse have them in my size, reduced to £9.99. Just ordered another 7 in various colours.
  4. Brunch at a mates house. Bacon and egg toasted sarnies with HP sauce.
  5. I never used to worry about how long food stuff is kept in the freezer in the past, because I never really bulk bought stuff and with being in the uk full time, the food got rotated naturally. Since being retired and travelling a great deal more, I have been a bit more conscious of it. They used to recommend a 3 month keep time. No idea why only 3 months, because I have eaten food that has been frozen for years and never had a problem. With me being away for the past 5 months, it makes sense to eat up all of my remaining food and Start a fresh, whether I need to or not. I will add that having a freezer full of old food when covid hit was a big bonus. LOL.
  6. All of my shirts this last trip were Isocool, except for a couple. It was remarkable how good they were and the odd days when my laundry was being done and I wore the ordinary T shirts that I have been wearing for ever, it was very noticeable how much more I sweated and felt hotter in them.
  7. Last nights ribeye steak with onions and veg.

  9. 55555 only 5 large mugs of tea this morning. The oversight was I forgot to include the ham in the omelette when I cooked it. LOL It's a reduced carbs day, so no bread.
  10. Ham and cheese omelette this morning. Spot the slight oversight.
  11. Chicken and chips cooked for me by a mate, I added beans and gravy after!
  12. Bacon and egg toasted sarnies around a mates house for brunch.
  13. Today's effort at making a Penang from the paste mixes that I came home with. I just added chicken and onions. Was a bit runny, but work in progress!
  14. Most of my meat comes from the same local butcher to me that does the sausages. I am trying to eat everything that I still have in the freezer before I order in fresh.
  15. Yes, codeine will constipate you very quickly. I find tramadol much better for back pain of they will give you it. Both have consequences long term.
