In taxi to my hotel in Bkk. Easy journey so far with Air Asia from Udon Thani to Don Mueng.

I usually get an evisa online myself and take clean US bills. We have had slightly old looking bills refused several times. I have no knowledge of hotels with a pool in that price range. Last visit I stayed in the Sun and Moon in PP which is nice with a pool, but nearer 3k a night. May be cheaper when you go!

Been a tough 3 days, but we have managed 19 fish. Mainly Siamese carp. Biggest at 80lb and an arapaima of just over the ton.

Neither had I, but apparently it was nice. I did get offered a piece, but didn't fancy it as just finished my banana split.

Andy has some nice rooms and a good bar with decent grub, well worth a visit.
