  1. For some unknown reason I just can't get excited about where the bahts going. But as always many thanks to those who constantly keep us posted on where it is.😁
  2. Raining here also. First heavy rain of the year and greatly needed..I'll have a little breakfast and then curl up with a good book.
  3. I'm pretty much sticking around here. We figure any trips to see the GFs family wont happen till end of year and I'm very content playing it safe. We both like to go for long drives of 3 to 4 hours but always end up back in our own bed. So it's going to be an easy summer.
  4. Hell... it feels like I've been watched all my life so not much difference
  5. Just finished a Zoom call with 19 of my best mates from 28 years ago. We are spread all over the country now. Most are married with grandkids of their own. It was set up by the wife of a mate whose Birthday is today. He turned 70. She surprised him... he thought he was going to talk to his Mother. And there we all were. What a great time catching up with everyone. It was 90 minutes of nonstop laughter. It changed my mind about the value of Zoom calls..... although it was pretty weird at first. 5555
  6. Thanks for being so honest Mr Charlie. I have suffered from depression in the past and the biggest monster I had to face was isolation. The more I isolated the more I wanted and the more I got the deeper into the depression I went. It's a monster that feeds upon itself. And the funny part was that I didnt even know it at the time. What i had to do was to force myself to become active rather than sedentary. I turned off the tv and internet. I cleaned the house. I forced myself to call more people... I told them the truth... that I was going nuts sitting at home and that I needed to talk to real people... some did know how deal with it and freaked out and others were more than happy to help. I had to force myself to go outside and do things... anything. It started with walks around the block and turned into 3 to 4 hour walks with stops at coffee cafes and restaurants for breakfast. It was difficult at first but I knew I couldnt stay any longer in that comfortable little hole that I had dug for myself either. Once again thanks for being so honest in your post. Hope this helps.
  7. These horses belong to Ann Rapp. Her business does sleigh rides in the winter and trail rides in the summer. Does very well.... till the virus obviously.
  8. GF found a new recipe for a breakfast casserole. This one she used spicy Italian sausage. I loved it but it was way to salty for her. So I'll be eating off it all week...5555
  9. Burgers again...always a great meal no matter the occasion.

  12. We never used ink type pens Till 6th or 7th grade. It was was the good old wooden and lead pencil for us in the early years.
  13. When he left Secrets he started posting back on Pattaya Addicts and then i saw him regularly on Peter Storms Cambodian forum. The man has literally posted 200,000 to 300,000 photos that he personally took in Pattaya. A legend for sure.
  14. Had a nice drive up to Silverton and back. Yesterday we went to Mancos. Both very pretty drives. We go on car rides every weekend. It's a great way to get the GF out of the house and keep her from going stir crazy. Today we had su, rain, hail and more sun.. we also listen to a book on CD.

Ive been a very very lucky guy health wise and knock on wood it's going to last a wee bit longer. I'm still doing a job that I love and it keeps me on the go all day long. I'm in crawlspace, in attics, on top of roofs, up an down ladders, and constantly on the run.... and I love ( damn near... Haha ) every minute of it. I have the normal aches and pains at the end of the day but nothing a couple hits of morphine wont cure.... just kidding. About the only thing that gets to me are sore feet and because of asthma my lungs strain when having to carry heavy loads of building materials. 90% of the time I feel as if I'm still in my 30s. But I have to admit there are a few days that I wake up feeling like 182.... lol.
