Prepared another batch (10 portions) of pork goulash. Used to cost me 55 Bt a portion, now it is 95 Bt.

Second try of a Cesar salad. Added some chicken and bacon to make it a proper dish.

Didn't pay much attention to the number of customers in Rompho, but while looking out for a pool table I saw just a few people in the bars. The place we usually went had both their pool tables occupied at around 8 pm, so we went to the new place where we were the only customers. Later maybe 5 others joined, most of them probably expats. Pretty much similar to the low season pre covid.

My cooking skills are improving fast. First potato gratin ever and the best I had since ages. Four layers of cream and a mixture of Parmesan and another Italian hard cheese.

1. Accomodation: After the first night in an expensive riverside hotel I moved to "The Pud Dee" for 1080 Baht. 2. Pay For Play: was with my GF, didn't look for it nor did I see anything like that. 3. Safety in renting a motor scooter Bicycles are often FOC provided by the accomodation. No idea about motobikes. 6.Karaoke: I used google maps, there is one about 18 km south of Chiang Khan town. Otherwise.....no clue. 7. Local tours and/or water active: saw a couple of guys fishing. If you are interested in bars, there is the "Miss U Bar Soi 19" with a bartender who worked in a 5 star hotel in Bangkok. The cocktails are excellent. Are you sure you meant Chiang Khan, not Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai?

Tell him to go to Facino. I used to pay 888 Bt there a year ago for Nasonex 140 doses with a member card which is free of charge, I believe ,but one gets some discount. Tried many other pharmacies, all more expensive.

I don't care if somebody is smoking on the balcony but it is not allowed by the condo rules set by the committee.

Condo 1 was rented on a 1 year contract. Condo 2 just became vacant but I have received a deposit on a 1 year contract starting September 1st. If anyone wants to rent the condo now the price would be 18000 per month.

Set to 29 daytime if I have it on, and 26 while sleeping. I came to Thailand because I like it warm.

Filling up the gas tank for a couple of minutes I don't see much of a service they are giving. Thought at your age you whould remember when they used to check the oil, tire pressure AND clean the windows....in your home country 😁 🏃‍♂️....

Contruction staff when building a house or doing renovation work get from time to time some of their poison, a couple of beers, some whiskey and Lao Khao. Must be drunken after work though. Don't use taxis. No barbers (Mrs. CO can do that very well, and no tip for her). No tips in 7-11, BigC, petrol stations (unless they clean ALL windows), hospital staff when outpatient, government offices unless it it mandatory to receive any service at all. If I tip more I get in trouble with Mrs. CO, especially if the waitress is young and pretty.

At least I tried the coconut ice cream, while Mrs. CO boosted sales at what felt like every second stand.
