  1. I bought a few weeks ago a three pack of Apple charging cables as one that came with the phone packed up. Was around £10 for them on Amazon. About a metre long so longer than the Apple one.
  2. When you have addiction issues like me and @Krapow then you know why non alcoholic drinks exist.
  3. I was totally the same way, I thought it was a waste of a day if I didn’t barfine at least once a day. Would get through 3 girls a day in my prime lol. We are close to the same age, and to be honest, sex just don’t have the interest for me anymore. It’s mainly why Pattaya doesn’t interest me anymore. Last few trips I was just happy meeting with forum members and having a beer and a laugh. With not being able to drink now there’s nothing to make me go back really. Might as well go to Spain or somewhere else in Europe.
  4. This is brilliant on ITVX, absolutely disgusting how people were treated by a large corporation who would not accept their f**k up. Many people lost everything, even jailed and took their lives, just because the Post Office and Fujitsu wouldn’t accept their computer system was flawed.
  5. Love history books and this is written by the director of the two expeditions to discover it.
  6. Not something I need myself. I’m happy sitting by the sea than around a pool. Something about the waves I find really relaxing.
  7. Such sad news. Genuine Rangers legend. First saw him in 1978 a year before he left Rangers. One of the old school mavericks, they would have to drag him out the pub or bookies before games. From the same school as George Best and the like. It’s a shame football has become so sanitised where it’s all about no drinking and eating pasta. But back then it wasn’t about money like it’s now, which is why I have lost my passion for the game. RIP Stan, you will always be remembered as one of the Rangers legends. 🥲
  8. Thought this was an interesting watch, but not an easy one. Unbelievable how people can be so cruel to innocent people for no reason but blind hatred.

The new spinners have been doing well this tour. Nice to see others getting a chance instead of the usual faces. There was a time unless you played for Yorkshire or Surrey you might as well not get your hopes up.
  10. I’m actually living in Twickenham now in Jan’s flat with her flatmate Sally. No mortgage so we just go halves on the bills. Costs me less than half my rent before, and I have known her over 15 years so have always got on well.
  11. Can’t beat a red Panigale for beauty. Those exhausts look great. Only downside is the high maintenance cost. Like you have to replace the cam belt every two years even if you don’t use it because of the tension it’s under, and that alone you are looking at £600+ depending on model, and that’s without the regular service. And if you have the top spec V4 it’s even higher. It’s a 215 hp bike so eats tyres, just shreds them. Doing well to get 1500 miles out a tyre if you rag it, and that’s getting on for £200 a time for a rear tyre.
  12. Stop going with hookers who have had a cut and shut!. 😀
  13. When I was in hospital last month they would take my blood pressure around four or five times a day. Lowest reading was 104 and the highest 156, but times around the 120/130 range, but I do take medication for it.
  14. I don’t know, the green and blue has my eye.😀 Going to make some breakfast then head to the gym. Got some crumpets so will have a couple of them.
  15. I don’t really think Pattaya would be good for me. Especially with my mental health and addiction issues, I’d probably end up drinking again. Especially now I have so much money from my sister. I’m just waiting for the weather to improve and get a bike. Being out riding is good for me. It really helps me a lot in not being tempted to self destruct. I really love Pattaya, had so many good times there and met so many great people. But at this point in my life I don’t think it’s going to be good for me.
  16. Struggling to deal with my life currently. It’s losing my sister Jan, it’s really made me feel so alone and broken. You don’t realise how losing your loved one’s affects you until they are not there. She wasn’t just my sister, she was my best friend as well. I don’t know, I’m probably just needing my counsellor, I will be speaking to her Friday, then I speak to my psychiatrist on the 29th. So hopefully I can get myself together.
  17. Since I came out the hospital in January I have been in the gym every day. I do an hour on the treadmill and the screen shows around 450 calories burned. I do brisk walking at 6.0 mph, I do half hour at level incline then half hour at 5.0 incline. Really noticed the difference in my fitness, don’t get out of breath like I did before.
  18. That’s a really nice looking bike. Love the yellow. Looks like the 400 but could be the 650. I totally get your worries, motorcycles can be risky, but it’s just down to the rider and the idiots on the road. Personally I have really calmed down speed wise, not like I was in my younger days. But bikes will always be in my heart, it’s just something I will never lose the passion for.
  19. Not got an insurance quote yet, but my last Z800 was in the low 200’s, plus I have a fair amount of NCB . I have a couple of proper solid chains as unfortunately I have no off road parking or garage currently but my area is pretty good so it’s not an issue.
