    Should be called the Selective Tourist Visa as its very clear that those on the first few flights will have been hand picked.

    Can't see many embassies/consulates issuing letters as there are and will be flights available to leave before the 26th. The unfit to fly medical certificate on the other hand may well be a good money maker for some.

    Well after six months off Suvarnabhumi isn't exactly going to be the best airport for me tonight.

    Very sad news. Phil was certainly one of the good guys and he and Puang were such a great couple with who my partner and I enjoyed many a good time with. RIP Phil and condolences to Puang and little Thomas.

    Not while working 28/28 If my back to back was to agree to 56/56 then I'd certainly think about it.

    Seems they have had a change of mind. Will at least safe me paying a 3,500 baht overstay fine. Just wonder when I'll be able to return.

    I had to Google it but ABD is the code for Abadan Airport in Iran. Is that a typo and should be ABZ for Aberdeen Airport.

    Visited a visa agent yesterday. Explained that I can't fly back to Kuwait until the 8th August. Just pay the fine for the one week overstay was the recommendation.

    Got an email from my work today and they have said I'll be flying back to Kuwait early morning of the 8th August. Can check in late evening of the 7th so I'm hoping I'll be OK with a one week overstay.

    114mph in first is insane. I'm happy cruising in 6th at that speed.

    Trying to tell myself that I really don't need to upgrade from my CBR 650F But the CBR 650R really is a nice looking bike.

    I remember as a kid it was someone's job to go around the car park and collect the trolleys. Bringing in the deposit system done away with the need for that job.
