Koepka looked dead in the rough at 5, and drains his pitch to go 3 under already
  2. Ah.....was thinking back to the busy days on Secrets in about 2009. Seemed at least twice a week there was some stupid thread by a first time poster, then like clockwork, we’d have a few “tick-tock” comments, and they’d be deported by admin. Always gave me a chuckle

Was just watching the Golf Channel, Chamblee chose Cantlay, Nobilo and Duval both chose Koepka. Hard to see him not near the top, but if the wind blows hard, who knows? Forecast is ~10mph all 4 days. Almost just cried, they showed Payne Stewart winning in 1999, 4 months before his plane crashed. What a tragedy, if the man had been poor like the rest of us and flown commercial or driven himself, he’d still be with us. Almost 20 years now, it feels like yesterday. I remember watching CNN live and not wanting to believe what was happening.
  4. Was shopping after my shift, extra lean beef was on sale, got a few lbs. Was going to wait to make another pasta sauce, then I remembered I had some buns set to expire, and some mozzarella and pickles. Nice fill-up before bed
  5. Never knew Dr John but heard “Right place, wrong time” often RIP
  6. Yes, I used to be a huge boxing fan but don’t follow it much anymore. Looks like this was a foregone conclusion, with an out of shape, last minute replacement, and favourite got beat and lost his belts. In all fairness to Tyson, the referee helped him lose, he KO’d Douglas who was then given at least 13 seconds to get up. But the protest failed. Congrats to Ruiz, the boy can hit hard and gives hope to all us chubby feckers
  7. Frank Lucas, drug trafficker who was the inspiration for American Gangster, passed away at 88. As much as I enjoyed the movie and Denzel Washington’s portrayal, have heard it was heavily fictional. The real kingpin was his “cousin” Ike Atkinson, in the movie he is the army guy who has a nightclub in Thailand

You’ve seen that guy who does the impressions, they even put him in a Bridgestone ad with Tiger. He’s awesome, I like when he does Poulter & Garcia

Oooooh....Tiger pulls no punches when asked about Haney losing his show. In his post round interview just now, he was asked about it and simply stated “ he deserved it” . I’m sure Haney’s book about Tiger contributed to that opinion Seriously, I kind of like the new Tiger. So many “no comments” from him in the past

Hank Haney looks like he’s in a bit of trouble, got his radio show suspended https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/golf/2019/05/30/hank-haney-suspended-radio-show-sexist-racist-comments-lpga/1286731001/

I always liked Kuchar, ever since his amateur performance at the Masters in 1998. But trying forever to get a helpful ruling today, and thinking it was OK to give a caddie $5,000 out of a $1.3 million winner’s check.....starting to see this guy’s true colours. It’s a shame
  12. People in baseball say 3,000 hits guarantees you the Hall of Fame( except steroid users). I looked it up just now, Bill Buckner had 2,715 and received only 2.1% on the 1996 ballot, which eliminated him from future votes. Could not believe this. Many inferior players have started at 20% and hung around on ballots for close to the 15 year max, and finally reach the 75% required. Buckner was either a victim of politics, or really was punished for that one play in the above video. Real shame....RIP
  13. As Rick James said........ Cocaine’s a helluva drug
  14. 100% d’accord mon ami. Thailand rates are getting too generous
  15. Love this one, showed the stupid brat some respect. Unfortunately the judge had prostate cancer and passed away in 2013
  16. +1. Just watched it and...what can you say? Great acting, true story, first time in a while I wasn’t thinking “ how much longer do I have left to watch this crap”? 2 things I learned from this movie: 1. The driver Tony Lip, became an actor. He’s in many gangster movies, and played Carmine Lupertazzi Sr. in The Sopranos. He passed in 2013 2. Never knew what a Green Book was, but then again I didn’t grow up in the 60’s in America.

Khun Jazz shot 42 on the back 9, didn’t realize he faded so much. Still a hell of a performance, but he cost himself huge baht and ranking points with the last few bogeys. Only 23 years of age, he has a bright future ahead of him

It was a good run by DJ, but the odds caught up. They have been guys shooting 81 today, 66 was a big ask
