  1. Very sad to see this. One of my favourites once I watched 101 best tries. He was a powerful and illusive runner and scorer of some very good tries. A sad day
  2. Had a mate from school who went into the Navy simply known as Jonathan Hunt, following basic training and a few trips on HMS Cardiff he came back as Iasac Hunt. he was then known as Isaac Those military lads do love a nickname
  3. Finished leftover roast lamb from yesterday now at sons swimming club. I find Monday a real tough one and I’m normally knackered by 8.30 and ready for me bed
  4. Aye that’s the issue as our main holiday was always July / August but as Stillearly says it’s the signs which are off putting and also speaking to locals who say it’s a bit more extensive still live the place though it’s a cracking place. Hoping your on the mend now !
  5. We stayed in The Hilton here a few years ago and then put a net out in the sea to immediately ‘enclose’ a section of the sea to afford some protection from the jellies. Not sure this is 100% effective but I used the area. nice to hear some tips for the food !👍
  6. Of course, but only briefly ! After 3 pints inside I waited outside for my Uber to take me to the next pub. It was a 4 pub mini tour.
  7. Forgot to post this yesterday - does a day late count ?
  8. I’m a fan of Hua Hin but one thing which really puts me off is the Jellyfish. It may sound trivial but I like spending time in the sea so fir this reason it knocks it off the list ……unless we lived in a pool villa ??
  9. The classic one from Bob Mortimer was ‘Snipers Dream’ on account of one of his mates who had a large head !
  10. Myself and my son recently got into this - loving it and watching 3 or so episodes a week of the series
  11. Weren’t 400cc bikes normally grey imports into the uk - I realise 99% of all bikes are imports into the uk but had in my head during the 90’s that the vast majority of quick ‘small super bikes’ were of the 400cc variety- could be wrong
  12. Omg so sad. Spent a bit of time in education with her son Tom who sadly died aged 47 a few years ago. She bought him a house in Glastonbury aged 19/20 next to the ‘famous’ Rifleman’s Arms where we enjoyed some good party times as late teens did. RIP - Mrs Weldon
  13. Seems reasonable - I’d try it
  14. I’ve got mates who use Facebook and they would use Breakfast Club Pattaya for questions like these so if you have FB perhaps pose the question these also. Good luck
  15. Here here. This time of year I always think of George Michael who I read was a very good giver and not in the biblical sense 😎
  16. A house in Windsor, by the castle
  17. From The Daily Mail https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11532383/British-pensioner-78-partner-27-killed-horror-car-crash-Thailand.html#article-11532383
  18. Looking March to April £1200+ not good
  19. I think if I was in town I’d defiantly pop in and feedback my review plus the topless element appeals. Same with GoGo’s as it’s somewhere I’d pop in for occasionally but I’d it was a new bar and one I knew the owner I would drop by for a gander. it’s just a shame that I cannot at present 😠
