  1. We stayed in The Hilton here a few years ago and then put a net out in the sea to immediately ‘enclose’ a section of the sea to afford some protection from the jellies. Not sure this is 100% effective but I used the area. nice to hear some tips for the food !👍
  2. Of course, but only briefly ! After 3 pints inside I waited outside for my Uber to take me to the next pub. It was a 4 pub mini tour.
  3. Forgot to post this yesterday - does a day late count ?
  4. I’m a fan of Hua Hin but one thing which really puts me off is the Jellyfish. It may sound trivial but I like spending time in the sea so fir this reason it knocks it off the list ……unless we lived in a pool villa ??
  5. The classic one from Bob Mortimer was ‘Snipers Dream’ on account of one of his mates who had a large head !
  6. Myself and my son recently got into this - loving it and watching 3 or so episodes a week of the series
  7. Weren’t 400cc bikes normally grey imports into the uk - I realise 99% of all bikes are imports into the uk but had in my head during the 90’s that the vast majority of quick ‘small super bikes’ were of the 400cc variety- could be wrong
  8. Omg so sad. Spent a bit of time in education with her son Tom who sadly died aged 47 a few years ago. She bought him a house in Glastonbury aged 19/20 next to the ‘famous’ Rifleman’s Arms where we enjoyed some good party times as late teens did. RIP - Mrs Weldon
  9. Seems reasonable - I’d try it
  10. I’ve got mates who use Facebook and they would use Breakfast Club Pattaya for questions like these so if you have FB perhaps pose the question these also. Good luck
  11. Here here. This time of year I always think of George Michael who I read was a very good giver and not in the biblical sense 😎
  12. A house in Windsor, by the castle
  13. From The Daily Mail https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11532383/British-pensioner-78-partner-27-killed-horror-car-crash-Thailand.html#article-11532383
  14. Looking March to April £1200+ not good
  15. I think if I was in town I’d defiantly pop in and feedback my review plus the topless element appeals. Same with GoGo’s as it’s somewhere I’d pop in for occasionally but I’d it was a new bar and one I knew the owner I would drop by for a gander. it’s just a shame that I cannot at present 😠

    Cricket

Saw this on Ian Bothams Twitter so read more about him and wow what a man and what he did for cricket. Very sad to lose someone so inspirational like this
  17. Went to Costco today and saw this which brought back some memories
  18. January 2004 or 2005 was my first trip and it was similar then. £15 a night in the Eastiny Place Soi 8 and the same for overnight company even with booze and food it was pretty much all in at £70 a day for me. flight at £650gbp but bring back the cigarettes and flight paid for I think a two week holiday hitting it reasonably hard was £1500. The fag sales really being a huge benefit ( until caught by customers on trip # 6) plus the great exchange rate. happy times and great memories
  19. The last bit sounds fun 🤩
  20. It could get messy. Been drinking lager and intending to go home soon but the Cider is drawing me in
