Getting ready to mow the lawn - not mowed for 3 weeks due to rain ( and laziness) - tis a good few inches high !

So, my understanding is that should a wife have UK residency ( by way of a British passport) but primarily reside in Thailand then they would have the usual tax allowance of £12,750 ( at todays rate) and should the pension income be the same amount then there would be no tax to pay.

Just in from a small 3km stroll around bristol docks in some great sunshine- there was a fire in one of the working boat sheds on Friday so some charred remains was present. This boat appears to have drifted whilst on fire, some 200m from where it was moored, and then sunk

Well, having thought we’d be holidaying in Europe this summer I changed my mind and booked for Thailand instead. A few too many beers after the Bath Races on Good Friday maybe! I managed to get direct flights with Thai Air for £930 which I thought was reasonable for the school holidays. we will head to Udon for a few days then head off to a beach resort and was possibly thinking of Samui so wanted to know anyone’s experiences of hear or recommendations of where’s good to stay for a family. Nightlife unimportant so long as decent restaurants which is a must

Nice to have brought back some good memories. I like Richmond and will drop up again in the summer to get on the water for a jaunt into london
