See Washington have finally come up with a name change ..... The Commanders ..... preferred the old name myself but this is 2021 so ... hey ho ...... Braves would have been good or Tomohawks ..... Scalpers ??? maybe not .... anyway first NFL team I ever followed Washington. Theisman and Riggins etc ..... They'll go after the New England Patriots next .....and then watch out Dallas ....
  10. What is the world coming to ? Small bottles of Leo too ..... never see that up in old Isaan way.
  11. That'll end up on someone's dinner table with a few glasses of Lao Khao to wash them down.
  12. Bully's gone and the other side as you come down from Soi 11 almost everything of character gone just ugly condos. Nothing much open after Hillary's on Soi Nana last month. Should start picking up soon. Soi 11 had some nice places open as did Soi 7/1 ...little hole in the wall places, old school .... enjoy !!

  17. Amazing performance. Last year he underwent major surgery too .....he is fitter than any other player and so often grinds out wins having lost early sets. Did not think he would do it today however 3 break points down in the 3rd set to go 2 sets and 2-4 down and he clawed his way back. Medvedev got all Bolshie and Russian started shouting at the ball boys and umpire ..... Melbourne crowd are a tough lot so they gave him the arse every chance after that. Federer will never win another open and Novax should be banned for 5 years for all sorts of things ..... Great character Rafa and loves his footie too .... c'mon Tim never quite reached those heights.

  19. Be interesting to hear the vicar do the eulogy for this fella: "He was always a cheerful family man and died doing the things he loved and had a happy ending ...." DRAFT 1 "He moved to Pattaya in later life or Sin City as it is sometimes known .... " DRAFT 2 "He will be sorely missed in Soi Honey where he became so well known ...." DRAFT 3
  20. Massage places open but not such a Happy Ending for this 70 year old Brit in Lovely Massage. Article is worth a read too about Sin City .... ahem ... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10453453/British-man-70-dies-inside-happy-ending-massage-parlour-Thai-Sin-City-Pattaya.html
  21. Its USP last few years has been the lights, lewd shows, loud music and ladyboys ...well for all the Asian tour groups and flag wavers. Anyone ever seen the massive line up of coaches on the hill waiting to pick these huge tour groups up.? Less lewd risqué shows but more garish and loud crappy bars and arcades, Indian clubs ....and of course Asian tour groups wearing headsets watching Squid Games and experiencing the Metaverse (whatever that is??). See I'm down with the hipsters still ....
  22. "Sweatie" is still not fully over it ....... a Hearts fan doing that to a Hibs fan .. tut tut..!! .. his mashie niblick has never been the same.
  23. A cunning plan for you depending on what time you check in. Turn right out of your hotel about a ten minute walk takes you to the corner of Stoke Newington High St and corner of Church St. Massive pub on the corner Three Crowns opens 4pm ....(if you miss Thailand wonderful Thai Restaurant Yum Yums) two minutes further on. Anyway stay on that side of the road and trace your way back the way you came. Rochester Castle opens 8am --- next White Hart --- go past Fort Apache aka infamous Stoke Newington Police Station ..... Yucatan well known for South American delicacies ahem---- your venue --- then further down same side Molly Blooms. Tons of places open till 3 and 4am too just ask any bearded hipster. All the downstairs Jamaican places long since gone. Right opposite your hotel is the Stone Cave amazing Turkish / Kurdish place with music and belly dancers at the weekend. Gillett Square Vortex Jazz club two minutes away nice Filipino manager opens late. Camden pubs get too crowded these days can't move. Soho the same rammed .....you're in a great area Roo ....
  24. Trickier but managed to avoid the dreaded last roll of the letters ... Wordle 223 5/6 🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟨⬛⬛🟨 🟩🟩⬛🟨⬛ 🟩🟩🟩⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  25. Always wondered what that place was ??? ...... looks a bit pronoun heavy LGBTQIMMALO ... ... as stated here 20 + years ago Sandringham Road and thereabouts was murder capital of the UK and the frontline. Now its got a vegan Jamaican caff and that's it. Even the Kurds have moved on and they used to kill each other in broad daylight in the middle of the roads .... true. Super trendy Stoke Newington Church St up the road and the legendary Auld Shillelagh pub still there ..... one of the few areas of London still rammed with pubs. Even a giant Spoons just up from that venue. + Ridley Road where Mosley used to rally with his Blackshirts in the 1930s .....
