This lock down is turning you into a damn fine cook MrB. Take away is fine an dandy but it's hard to beat a good home cooked meal. And the photography is top notch.

I ran across this the other day. It's from where I stayed in Phuket all those years ago.

It's not often that we get to see these photos from days gone by. So thank you for sharing them with us. I'm sure they bring back great memories of when we were all younger.

This is where I've been working all winter. Now Spring is here and everything is getting green again. I built this house about 26 years ago and the homeowners have adopted me. Every time they need something done I get a call. I'm a pretty lucky guy.

Just got home. Here's my new Samsung 64" TV. I knew it was going to be a tight fit. Kind of like squeezing UKguy into the middle seat in economy. My inside measurement between the window casing and the fireplace is 55 inches and the TV is 57 inches. So it overlaps 1 inch on each side.

Exactly.... They have sure made big strides in simplifying the remote. Who needed 47 buttons?

Heading off to work. The New TV is hooked up and exceeding expectations. Will post pics tonight when I get home. One thing that surprised me is the remote control. It is as simple as simple can be. See if you can pick out which on is the new remote......

Got a call from the trucking company. My new tv will be delivered today! So.... ( a pun from another thread ) I have everything out of the way and am patiently waiting good by to 12 year old Plasma. She has been a great tv.

I agree with Knuckles above. It does seem to help center their thoughts for the statement that hopefully comes next. I would like to take it a step further. It's my experience that a great deal of the people I run into have upped it by adding " ok ". It is expressed as " ok, so " but it has turned into an abbreviation. So ( no pun intended ) it's progression has been.. " ok so "...to " kayso ".... to " kso " In my old neighborhood a conversation usually started out with " f**k you you fucking c**t "

The male turkeys are strutting their stuff. One thing I had forgotten was how iridescent their feathers are.

Doesn't bother me one way or the other. Although I stopped smoking 43 years ago I still love the smell.
