This was the Richmond brand. Not bad, but the bacon texture is the main difference, that's quite different to regular bacon. It's drier, you don't get the greasy, fatty taste and texture. End of the day, you can never replicate bacon as well as you can some other meat types.

At least there was one positive to come out of it, and that was Jimmy Anderson. In the little amount of cricket he played, he took seven wickets at an average of 14.4,his best bowling down under for 10 years. And from a bloke who is 40 in July.

We can try everything in the net's, practice games etc., but the problem is our obsession with white ball cricket. Until we treat the county championship with the respect it deserves,this shit show will continue. Yes, there is no attractions for the casual fan, they want a quick 3 hour game with a result. But if we want to take Tests seriously we won't do it without scheduling the season properly. The EWCB should just admit Red ball cricket is not a priority anymore,we can see that in the performances.
