I am still in touch with Capn Murg, albeit mostly on FB and infrequently. I last saw him, with George (Skygod) at Murgs house in Bang Bo but that would be several years ago now. As I say, he uses FB should anyone wish to get in touch. Anyway, getting back on topic 🙂

It did. D&G logged your call in their database, which is no doubt accessible to the others, so you got flagged as someone (probably) renewing/enquiring about insurance. Its all very sneaky but there’s logic behind the madness however distasteful it seems.

After the first round it’s hard to see any clear candidates tbh. Italy? But made to look good. France because they beat a top side? But bottom line is it’s really wide open…… I wouldn’t be placing any bets with any confidence.

Pleased you got it sorted bud. FWIW the “best” way, and over time the easiest way, to add gifs would be as an attached file not as code I.e save it to your comp and add as you would an image. That said using the code is ok as you have discovered.

Assuming Southgate wants Trippier for set pieces (can’t think of any other reason) then I think Walker needs to go and Trippier at RB. I’d usually agree with you about Mings but he did OK yesterday so fair play to him. Id have Shaw pencilled in as one of my dead cert starters - and no I’m not a prawn sarnie fan. As above. I had Walker as a starter but I think if Southgate wants Trippier that badly he should go to RB as yes Walker wasn’t great

Ok cool I will leave it...... because I have checked the settings and it’s turned ON so I’m not sure why it doesn’t propagate in the comments box. I have a feeling this has been set as a default as it’s the same over on PA now.

I have checked this and you are correct. There “should” be an option to select “rich” or “plain” text and the rich option would show the site/link info in the comments box. I will ask the admins here as there may be a reason why they have the “rich text” setting turned off. That’s a simple fix but as I say I need to see if the admins had a reason to turn that off.

Thanks bud Hopefully other guys will read all this and pick up the tips. I would be pretty sure this caused Butch’s issue too ie “add file” then “click insert” (+)

@lazarus Where you say “small icon at the bottom of the post” (for images) can I assume you are clicking the + sign in that icon to actually add it into the post? If you are it’s odd. If you are not, you need to. See image below - you need to click the + sign circled to add the image into the comment box itself. You place the cursor where you want each image - then click that +. This way you can add as many images as you want, where you want them, AND they show in the comments box in the position you inserted them i.e. they are "previewed". If you dont do this they simply add as "attachments" at the end of your post, not in the positions you may actually want them.

It should "preview" in the comments box itself. What you see there should be exactly what shows when you hit the Submit Reply button Have you had this problem before? If there's a problem specifically with gifs I will try find out but this is the first time i have read this issue - on any of the 4 forums so Im not really sure of an answer.

Re Buffalo bar It seems its "land value" has finally exceeded its "going concern" value. Those of us who know it will be aware it was like the frkn Tardis when you went through that tiny frontage. Pretty huge old area inside. That is 2nd hand gossip I have to say but it does make sense.

I can vividly remember asking a good friend why he had a tendency to take, shall we say, less pretty girls. After 32 years probably take me all night to write the list and even longer to remember them. I’ve never been one for negotiation or interview, probably 95% were on impulse.

I think its worth highlighting the VIP Clubs and illegal gambling dens etc......... however Laying blame at their door entirely is a bit silly for the simple reason that whoever the initial carrier was he/she would almost certainly have gone somewhere else crowded at some point. My (entirely) personal view is its silly to differentiate between the type of venue - for example Factories are packed solid every day Wet markets and markets in general are jammed solid every day Construction and factory accommodation/dorms are packed solid every night Most small restaurants have 3/4 customers only at any given time. As is so often the case it seems to be the powers that be will blame whoever they see fit, as scapegoats, but leave their mates alone.

Firstly, to the OP there was no “before”, those areas seem to have been set when the forum began and we certainly haven’t changed anything. Secondly it’s a simple task to add the province - Central seems sensible. Lastly I can see it’s all a little messy with Rayong listed in both Central and Eastern. What I don’t want to do is start making too many “changes” or thread will then be in the wrong place.
