Would be good if we could meet up one year if we were around at the same time. Bangla on New Year's Eve 2021 was busy and almost felt normal. I'm real glad I went over to Thailand after so long away .I I had a few good laughs meeting up with @boydestetoo on a few nights down Bangla , he even had the decency to say goodbye on my last night 🤣😭 I could quiet easily have stayed till April I love being down there , Patong's changed over the years but Phuket is without doubt still my favourite place. So after all your good advice and travel arrangements / hotel booked I couldn't make it. The trains were cancelled one after another from up here . I kept my eye on them all morning and turned up at the train station twice (after it looked like I'd be in luck they were running online) to he told , no sorry cancelled. Bad storms early in the morning , bit by 12pm the sun was out 🙈 Managed to get a refund on the train tickets and the hotel understood and didn't charge me , though when your all ready for a beer and with an all night bag on tenter hooks that's no consolation. Ah well money towards a Thai Flight in the future maybe ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

All that about less chance of not contracting Covid with a vaccine.. October / November 2020 we all had no vaccine , my Mrs caught it she was ill two days of the 14 I slept in the same bed with her for two weeks of isolation , nothing changed as regards staying away , I didn't catch it and neither did my kids January 2022 three jabs for the pair of us , my eldest son one jab(14 years old) no jab for my 10 year old son ...we all catch it . Just my experience .

Truthfully I could care less wether someone is vaxxed or not we all catch it in the end .... Too much bullshit bickering gone on over it all
