Yeah it's OK and not that much more expensive than in Europe I guess. I don't go out at all these days for obvious reasons so spending a few extra quid on decent wine won't break the bank and is a bit of a treat to myself.

Could be but it won't change a thing here. The Thais are not going to let people in en mass just because they've relaxed the lockdowns in Europe and the US.

Which northern summer months are you referring to? It could be 40 degrees in Europe with everyone vaccinated, but as long as Thais aren't all vaccinated forget about tourism returning here. Hopefully local tourism will be allowed again soon although that won't save central Pattaya I'm afraid.
