Getting Sky Sports and BT Sports . .

Recommended Posts

I'll be moving in to my apartment on Monday and while the Thai landlord said he'd be able to get me Sky Sports and BT Sports it turns out his provider can't (or won't) supply them.

There's already a minix android box installed and he tells me today it's been upgraded. I understand Sky Sports and BT Sports can be added to this, plus a few other Sky channels I'd like.

Does anyone have a contact in the business who can provide these for me?

I also have a laptop with HDMI connection, so that could be plan B I guess.

Sky have been doing quite a good job of stopping illegal streams on android recently. I would talk to Phil about how he gets it in Le pub, assuming he gets it. Our resident android box expert here may be able to shed some light on it too!

Got myself a Firestick with a iptv subscription for my condo in BKK, that gets me all the football. I took it over from the uk though. Im sure someone around Pattaya will be doing iptv subscriptions.

Thanks JPK. I've got it sorted. One of the bar owners gave me the lowdown, now got an Android box that will give me hundreds of channels, including all UK Sky channels, BT sports and even EFL games.

Well whoever has the rights now. I'm sure they have a streaming service.

I use HDPRIME, it is 380 baht per month, gets Sky, BT etc and streams quite well in 720 and some channels are 1080. Bit of buffering now and again though.

Has anyone used both IPTV and HDPRIME and advise which one is better, I believe IPTV is cheaper?

In my experience HD Prime is far too unpredictable and buffers more often than not.
In the bar for the cricket and lower league football I use an IPTV service which is almost perfect.

Is it actually IPTV you use or another one ?
I believe IPTV is only about $30 per year ?

I am using HDPRIME in the UK but paying by prepaid True money vouchers from Thailand.  I pay 570 a month for 30 days unlimited, I will continue to pay monthly as just expecting it to fold one day.

I was having some problems with the streaming a few months ago but now works well, the only issue is that SKY must send a disabling signal or something as at dead on the hour the link breaks and I just have to either clear cookies and start again or move on to another server.
