I have heard that the main Tonya Gym and pool has closed.

Does anybody know any other info on this and whether it is permanent. What is happening to the land area etc.

It's a little bit along 3rd road towards the south from from the intersection. With the larger pool and covered tennis court. It was the original venue and I,m told its closed down but not the others. Sad for me as I use that pool daily when there and the other is not much more than a plunge pool.

If you're looking for a decent lap pool, Father Ray Foundation has a very nice 25m pool. Cost is 60B/day or 900B/month.

Yes, on Sukhumvit. Here's a pic of the place I took a few years ago along with their most recent open swim schedule.

Just a note.....   Traffic can get really jammed up there.
