  1. He don't need to go back to the UK for treatment, i had a full on stroke 3 years ago here in Korat, wifey took me to the SUT hospital and with a private room, brain scan, physio etc total cost was 27K baht. Now what really is important is the fact that you need a carer/nurse when discharged from the hospital as in my case i was totally f***** down my right side, now if you're on your own here that is a massive problem. I was lucky to have wifey taking fantastic care of me.
  2. Love Spain, it would be MY choice for retirement but not wifey's πŸ˜’
  3. and no doubt like you Mike i could'nt GAF how much my leccy bill is, i can't put a price on my comfort, just pay the bill whatever it is.
  4. I've said it before and i'll say it again, why tourists come to Thailand in March, April or May is beyond me.
  5. Bingo, despite being affordable i will never ever buy a BC seat all the time i've got a hole in my arse lol, i hate flying as a passenger, i get this heady feeling (cabin pressure) which is really uncomfortable and it makes no difference where i'm sitting, i can't sleep despite trying all sorts of remedies. Paying these prices for BC is just not worth it imo of course but i can quite understand those that do and no doubt benefit from it.
  6. We had a real violent downpour yesterday afternoon at 2.30pm here in Korat lasted for an hour, garden flooded. Temp dropped to 28C just lovely but humidity was 85% πŸ˜’ Thats the first rain we've had for weeks......

  8. But do you have trouble breathing, do you notice the pollution when breathing ?
  9. Just my English SOH mate, yes i understand the pollution is different and not all year round but nevertheless pollution is pollution and we are ALL better off not being exposed to it, whats it actually like in CM trying to breath the polluted air ? The only time i've been to CM was in December for a 1 week stay and that was back in 2008, so i'm way out of touch.
